So i have been trying to keep up with everyones blogs via my phone but I can't comment from it for some reason which sucks. But I'm using my folks computer at the momment and will hopefully have something by the end of the weekend. Luckly I backed everything up a few months ago when I put Windows 8 on it. Otherwise I would realy be devistated right now. Oh, if anyone has any suggestions about a good laptop I'm all ears cause thats what I'm looking at getting. Laters Ya'll!

Im about to be computer less soon. I decided to wait till I can actually buy on out right instead of paying for each 2 weeks too keep it till its paid off. I wanna concentrate on my gaming stuff instead. I have other ways to get online to stay connected on here and other places so Im not too worried about it.

The Habitat for Humanity near us is apparently selling old Windows 7 laptops for around $200; I might get in on it, and you can see if there's a Habitat near you doing something similar.

Depending on what they are that could be a good deal. I'm guessing they won't be gaming laptops though unless retro gaming is your thing, but for internet, that's not an issue.

I'm looking at Habitat for Humanity for laptops well under $500, so no, the fact they're not gaming laptops is not a deal breaker. LOL.

Now, if they are in good condition, and can at least run some basic video editing software, I'll be sold; hopefully, they're not gone.

Well I had a budget of $400 to work with and I am typing this right now from my new Samsung Series 3 notebook. A new one on Amazon was $500, got mine at Best Buy for $379, the tax put me over a little but I'm really happy with it. Windows 8 still sucks but I'm getting used to it. I'm strictly a console gamer, so that wasn't really an issue. I just needed something that I can write on, use Corel Painter , and get on the internet with.

Windows 8 without a touch screen is totally pointless.

Even with a touch sceen its a confusing hard to navigate mess. I'm figuring it out the more I use it, but I'm a firm beleiver in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." PC's and laptops may not be selling as good as they used to but I don't see them going the way of the pay phone anytime soon. I personaly think tablets are way over rated.

The Sony Vaio's are usually pretty decent, and that's what I use. I got it at Walmart for $500. It handles games pretty well. The most recent game I have on it is Dragon Age 2.

Yeah a Vaio would have been my next choice, but all the ones  I saw were at least $100 beyond my budget. Still I think SamSung makes pretty good stuff so I'm happy with what i got.
