Wow, that Oddworld game looks cool. The graphics look nice too. I've never played an Oddworld game actually. I've never heard of this one, and didn't know it was coming to Vita. Is it download only? Sigh -- I want a Vita.

Since my review of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time recently went up and I want to promote that game as much as possible, no matter how late, I thought I'd post another blog on what I've been reviewing recently.
For all you Double Fine fans who have yet to pick this up (something that I notice is strangely common with DF games, go figure), there is one thing I have to say before all else: Have two people to play co-op with if you want to pick it up. It's still enjoyable on your own, but it is a lot less tedious with a few friends as they can keep you from constantly backtracking to get different characters to the same location to solve a puzzle. And since the game has no online, make sure it's local. Other than that, it's a very witty game that has a few baffling gameplay decisions which weigh it down. You have to replay this a lot if you want to get all the content out of it.
The Vita's first good FPS may be a port of a game that's over seven years old, but hey, it's an FPS on that thing. Reason enough to celebrate. The game itself was quite charming and did a lot to seperate itself gameplay wise from every other FPS. I'd more recommend this to people looking for something different than FPS fans.
Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2
A game almost exactly like Dynasty Warriors, it's a very mixed bag as the story mode is mediocre at best, but the content it unlocks in free mode give you what is eventually a fun game with a good amount of replay value. Recommended to those who want to just play it an hour a day until they can unlock plenty of goodies to go nuts with it.
A lot of my review focused on how average this game is. I don't remember anything else about it and I just reviewed it a week ago.
See that character portrait in the bottom left corner in the picture of the review? Your reaction to that will determine whether you will enjoy this $5 arcade style game or not.
One of my favorite games this gen and favorite platformers of all time. Other reviewers will tell you how the game's nothing special and just good, but not great. But what you didn't realize is how fucking wrong they were and even though it does not do much to evolve what the PS2 entries gave, it takes the best elements from each of the three games and mixes them together to form a game where you can tell that the developers really loved and respected the source material. GO BUY SLY!!!! NOW!!!!!
Be sure to check Rotorob next week because this week I'll be playing Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate for the 3DS. That's all I can say on that.
