Not really a blog this one, more of a 'how do you do' to my new gaming home. I ve had a good look around and it seems that my peers from 1up have chosen their new dojo well, great layout and a warm welcome before I even signed up! now thats impressive customer care.

Times are a changing at the moment, not only has 1up closed but within a matter of weeks I will jetting off to Perth, Austraila for a permenant move which will be a stark difference from rainy Yorkshire in England. It's great that I ve been given a chance to settle in here first though as I think I'll need some support via gaming chat from you guys as 'll be a stranger in those parts!

A brief introduction then, I'm a seasoned gamer (though cannot hold a crown to Grey Haired on that!) who likes a challenge but cannot be bothered with the 100+ campaigns that some games offer, not through lack of want but time seems to be become more sparse the older I get. I'm a keen artist (though I ve been sloppy over the last six months) and look forward to sharing some of my geeky creations with the community here at Pixlbit. I'm currently developing an 'ultimate battles' series which aims to use a variety of characters which will more than likely never meet in their respective media's (though with MKvsDC and the like this is quickly becoming reality). They don't happen as much as I would like (or should do) but when I create something new you guys will be the first to see it. A little tasterbelow for all those curious.

Any way it's great to see so many people I recognise here from 1up and I look forward to meeting more of the community here, so far it's looking very promising.
