Whoever invented Google+ should be set on fire, have their eyelids stapled together and then have random parts of his body run over by a tank. Whoever decided to link it with youtube deserves to be drowned in the urine of someone with urinary infection.

Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to make youtube - one of the most used websites in the history of fucking ever - innaccessible to the point of insanity was a good idea? I want to have a name on my youtube page. Not my full name, because that would be fucking stupid. I want a fucking screen name you daft cunt, not Blake Turner. I don't want MY name displayed accross my channel, because WHO THE FUCK CALLS A CHANNEL BLAKE TURNER?!

Jesus fucking christ this is just plain stupid. I want to find whoever thought this was a good idea and punch them in the dick because they fucking deserve it.

Every once in awhile on Youtube (More like everytime I comment) I get this annoying option to link all my varied accounts spread across the internetz under one channel using my "real name". While convenient for NSA, big government, and marketing researchers it certainly isn't convenient for me. Rememember Blake, "Big Bro Americuh" watches you masturbate! (Or is that "little bro"?? England came first afterall! If so, a metaphorical kid watches you jerk your junk. I bet you feel much more comfortable now!)

Apparently it's to limit cruel and offensive comments because it's not anonymous anymore. I stopped using google+ so now I'm whatsacowify lol.

I don't agree with excessively mean-spirited bigoted trolling. However, I am afraid by trying to crack down hard on offensive trolls people who use sarcasm & satire are going to feel the wrath of the ban hammer too. This is why I rather tolerate some trolls and be free rather than be monitored & silenced all together. Just my opinion though!

I actually began using an add-on for Firefox that turns all the comments on Youtube into variations on "Herp Derp." recently. It's awesome. :D

I deleted my Youtube account because I never really bothered to use it. I never uploaded anything, and I can view videos without an account, so it just didn't make much sense to me to have one. So now I don't. :D

Lol! Sounds awesome! I have no add ons at all, I prefer my internet browsers to be as fast as I can. That's why I delete my history once a week (yes... that's why) and stuff.

Fair enough. i like making videos, being reminded of the channels I'm subscribed to, and commenting, so yeah.

Also, since you can view videos without an account... watch my Mass Effect 3 and Metal Gear Solid 2 theme song covers!

I feel that Google+ is too complicated. I had to make up a couple of different accounts because my full name was on there. Linking that with a Youtube account sounds like a terrible idea! Youtube is a seething cesspool of trolls and idiots.

I've never been too keen on Google+. I've never liked linking the accounts either, and I actually made a secondary account with a fake name just for privacy.

Your rant is harsh.................................. but fair. This desire by google to link everything to everything else is lame. Similar enough to yourself, I don't want people googling my name and finding a bunch of stuff I uploaded while drunk or whatnot. I don't use it that much any more but even my Facebook account doesn't have my full name. Is there nothing to be said for a bit of internet anonymity anymore??? Years from now, it will only take a google search for a potential employer to rule out a whole boat load of candidates. Google please THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

Yeah... It's ridiculous. What someone does in high school or college should not affect their career, and what someone does online in the company of their own home should not effect anything! It's insanity!
