Soul Nomad: And The World Eaters, the game was released on September 25, 2007 and was published and developed by NIS Software and is a complex srpg. And is by far one of my ps2 favorites and is $42 on Amazon in good condition complete.

My Score 4.5 out of 5 Excellent

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, is a srpg developed by NIS Japan and published in the US by Atlus, and was released in 2006 and this is another must have game, although it literally took me three years to beat it but keep in mind i played in segments and took my time but this is a huge game. A used black label copy in good condition complete is $14.99.

My Score 4.5 out of 5 Excellent

Phantom Brave: Is a srpg developed and published by NIS Software and was released on August 31, 2004 and is tied into the Disgaea series, and can be purchased on Amazon for a crazy $7 in good shape complete, and although this one isnt as long as most NIS titles its still a great game.

My Score 4 out of 5 Very Good

Yeah, that was more what I was saying, I'm just not a J/S RPG fan, wasn't meaning to imply you don't have diverse tastes, just that I am not as big an RPG fan.

Honestly, I like just about everything except J/S RPGs and RTS ... and even then, Paper Mario was kind of fun, I've just never been an RPG or strategy guy.

Those are what I lean towards. I've told you before, I'd like to get into the more cerebral stuff like RPGs, but I kind of grew up with games that provided immediate experiences, so it's kind of ingrained in me to want to just power up and go! I am from the ADHD "millenial" generation after all! lol (note: I have never been diagnosed with or seriously claimed to have any form of attention deficit disorder, and the internet wasn't really huge until I was a teenager; so it's not really a generational problem, I just never got into chess, etc.)

You have a real knack for finding these amazing PS2 games I have never even seen. You collection of them is pretty impressive, too. Phantom Brave is the one I think I'd like the most. Seems like I did see that one out at the flea market once. One guy out there has awesome stuff, tons of it.

RPGs are like watermelon!  When I see people eating watermelon I get jealous. It looks soo good and so refreshing. Everyone is enjoying the watermelon.  But when I try a bit...i do not like it.  I want to like it but it does not appeal to me. RPGs are the same way, gamers are passionate about RPGs and they love to play them. I envy that.  I did try a few..FF7 and the 1 on the dreamcast...Skies of Arcadia?  I wanted to like them....I love RPG music...but I can not play them.  I do not like them.   I am sorry.

Hahahah...you are 100% correct.  If we all liked the same thing it would be a boring world.
