Hello denizens of PixlBit!
With the glut of Fall releases FINALLY behind us, we're all (for the most part) able to relax a bit and dig into the titles we're currently playing sans the pressure of review deadlines, scraping together that last 5 bucks to bail a copy of Game X out of pre-order, and agonizing over who'd win the Shooter War of 2011. I don't know about you, but I spent too much money on titles that I'd never get through....
Yes, the nesting has begun....personally, I prefer to take a few puffs from a very fine $1.50 cigar, pop the tab on a can of cold soda and revel in the ample hugs my toddler lavishes on me EVERY TIME I get about 15 minutes into a game session (he's also my coach - whenever I get frustrated he's right there telling me "iss alwhite, dahddy!"). With no news on a release date for Skyrim's next patch, I've thrown that game at the bottom of the backlog. That being so, I've been playing Dark Souls mainly. It's been a learning experience for sure.
Up next after I finish Dark Souls is Snake Eater HD...I've started the game and played through to the part of the game where Snake encounters Revolver Ocelot for the first time. I'm eager to resume my playthrough....I've found, though, that whenever I give attention to multiple titles, I rarely ever finish them. Does anyone else have this issue?
Now that there's a lull in releases, what titles are you folks playing? Are you enjoying your time with the game(s)? What's next on the pike for you after you finish your current game(s)? Like a birthday stripper, please BARE ALL.
Also...did you guys see that OnLive is coming to retail stores? I believe I read that on n4g. Very eeeeeeenteresting, that. OnLive's had my attention ever since I saw the crazy good game deals they have at times...reminds me of Steam, though not quite as generous....yet.
