NCAA Football

 

 

I broke the San Jose State QB

I finished my first season of Dynasty, and to my shock a non BCS School (SDSU) won the National Title by beating Michigan State at the Rose Bowl. In previous seasons it would take a non BCS School five or six seasons of being undefeated or having 1 loss. Of course there were a bunch of upsets throughout the season and my team was stuck at #2.

 

After the season it was interesting to see that this has returned. I’m happy to see it because now it gives me a reason to pick up Madden earlier (if I do buy Madden). Just in case I’m going to be saving draft classes. It was kind of funny that NCAA still tells you which round your players were drafted in (you get bonus points for your coach)

 

I also moved SDSU, BYU, Boise State, Air Force, and Fresno State to the American Athletic Conference, creating a 14 team conference split into two divisions, and moved them back into the BCS rotation with the “Big 5”

 

The Mountain West absorbed UTSA, Texas State, NMSU, and UTEP.

 

 

Simpsons Tapped Out

 

With the Rod and Todd update, I’ve been back to updating regularly, and I’ve noticed a bunch of people on my friends lists have given up so at some point I’ll start to remove them.

 

 

This was a nice coincidence when I was giving the characters their jobs

I was having a lazy Sunday, but after an hour of this, I needed to get out, so I went Thrift Store hoppin’. Out of three stores I hit, two had a very small video game section, and both went nuts with their pricing (if you can sell Joe Montana Sports Talk Football for the Genesis, and Triple Play for the PS2 for $6-8 bucks, more power to ya) I ended up finding some new music including vinyl that I liked. An impulse buy was a box of cards for $7 bucks. This was the last of a set that was at this one particular store that I bought a bunch of cards from a couple of weeks ago. The owner said last week a bunch of boxes dropped to .99 cents. I wasn’t too happy that I didn’t show up, but oh well.

 

I also bought this gem for a $1. Flashbacks of later 90210 seasons with Peach Pit After Dark, and Kelly Kapowski being added to the cast.

Before I call it a blog, I’ve decided to tackle a couple of games I bought a while back, and never touched. I’m thinking of jumping into the Force Unleashed I & II, and hopefully I play them in order.
