Hello Pixlbit! Since I’ve moved over to the new Nexus 7, I’ve started to get back into tablet gaming, and one of the reasons why is

Android’s version of Achievements/Trophies. I’ve already played the heck out of the games I like but since my progress doesn’t carry over to a new device (it probably does but I haven’t been doing it), I started over. The one good thing is that Angry Birds keeps record of your progress in their game so with the iDevices and the N7, I am progress without replaying anything.

I started up with Temple Run 2 again. I really did love the original of Temple Run, but when the second one (and then the Disney version) were released I was already burned out so I didn’t pay much attention to them. With this version, I’m getting back into the groove especially because one of the add-on characters is

It was .99 cents, but having one of the world’s best sprinters in a running game that doesn’t involve Gatorade (check out the Usain Bolt iPhone/iPad game where you collect Gatorade bottles to go faster).

I guess I haven’t played this game in forever because there are some new sections, and I can’t hit my usually 1,000,000+ scores.

Hopefully I start adding to my achievements/trophies on this game, and other games that support this feature.

The next game I started playing is

Color Zen was a free game on the Apple Store app, which at first I just downloaded because it was free. I was probably gonna play it for a couple of minutes, and then remove it from my phone. The concept for the game is simple: Make sure the last color you unlock is the same color as the border color. You drag one shape to another shape of the same color. Sound simple?

It actually is. There are a couple of moments where you need some strategy but the game is really fun.

There are points where you have to replay the level again, but it’s nothing like a tear your hair out puzzle game. I wanted to just give it a quick try but soon 40 minutes went by. Fun game, and I’m gonna make sure I put it on my iPad. If the Apple Store app isn’t offering it for free anymore, I think the iTunes Store price is .99 cents, which isn’t bad especially if you like puzzle games.

Oh you know I got excited over this. The update for Krustyland finally came, and the one thing I was shocked by is that you have to use Krusty Tickets instead of cash to unlock land, different booths, attractions, and other decorations for your new Krustyland.

I do like how they updated the load screen.

To get to your new Krustyland, there is a bus stop to take you to your new spot. Once you unlock Krustyland, you’ll get a little blast from the past with the tutorial on how to set up your own park, adding different attractions, and what the tickets are. Once you get your Krustyland going, you’ll have guests who will have ticket icons over their heads for you to collect.

I added a little “hidden” icon to reference another theme park

For some of the trash that litters the land when you unlock them, I decided to incorporate them into my Krustyland

My favorite character animation from the regular folk in Springfield: McBain going nuts

So I finally updated my Backloggery page.

My list from the downloads screen on the PS3. It’s amazing how many games you pick up through game sales, and PS+. There was a couple of moments where I said “Hey I own this!?” It happens a lot with my music library.

All the games I added. I’m probably missing a couple, and I’ll need to probably go more in depth at some point, but for now this is as close to updated as I can be. I’m gonna be more active with this site, so if you have a Backloggery page, come on by and say hi. Backloggery.com/GoAztecs

Non Gaming Stuff

I hit a Lego Store for some pieces and left with a couple of poly bags…and my cup of pieces. I actually tried to speed up my trip or else I would have bought two cups.

Also I'm excited that The Simpsons are coming to Lego

Well that’s all for now, more later!

darn, you actually have a list!  I don't think I could face mine.

Check out a game called "God of Blades".  It's on iOs but I think it's on Android too. Very cool stuff.

Oh you should have seen the list I had when I first setup my Backloggery account.

I'll check out God of Blades, thanks for the heads up

The Simpsons didn't already have Legos? Well, that's news to me. I like the trailer for that Lego movie, too.

Love the trailer for the Lego movie. Batman had me laughing.

Surprising The Simpsons didn't have a dedicated set. Some folks are a little angry over it but whatever, it'll be interesting to see a Lego version of Springfield...and maybe a Lego game.
