never got into Diablo. I tried Torchlight too.... and that new Marvel Heroes game. They're all kind of a spin on the same design. Heard Diablo 2 was great though.

So I am just going to ramble about some random stuff I have been doing lately. I got a new laptop that is able to play the few PC games I own so I will have some fun pc gaming again. I grew up with PC games so I am quite excited to play so of my older games. Some of my best memories and the most time I have ever put into one game came from a little known game called Diablo 2.
Yea that amazing game that everyone played, hopefully. I love that game. But I have also found a copy of Torchlight that I have never played. Put a couple hours into it today and its actually not that bad. Reminds me of Fate. It was a kid friendly Diablo. Never played Fate but Torchlight has a similar art style. It is way less dark than Diablo. Sadly.
I do like tha fact that I can choice the difficulty I start on rather than going through the game twice just to get on the really hard difficulty. So of course I chose very hard and hardcore (one life) and went for it. They only have three classes which is kinda lame but I chose the Magic/Summon class and skipped all the story. I just wanted to dip my toes in the water to see if I wanted to actually invest in the game. Well I made it a couple levels being a more physical magic user which was going good.......
Was. Then I died. Had to delete the character and I wanted to give the game another shot so I made a new character and played a lil more carefully. Well got a lil bit further but ultimately just faced my demise. But I might actually play this game for real without the hardcore enabled. It has more in common with the first Diablo. Nothing wrong with that but not as good as D2. Once I go back to school in a few weeks, I am going to buy a good mouse to game with and put some time into it. On a forgotten note.....I really enjoy the dog partner and how the character changes with the armor like in D2, works well with the art style.
Other stuff going on........Not much. Still on my quest to catch all 151 original pokemon and now I am training my all zubat team to defeat the elite four. I am also getting into comics lately. Like really involved in them. Other than that....um I am still starring at my backlog and just being overwhelmed. I might start a tourney in Super Smash to decide what game to play next.
