Well guys right now I have a few predictions for games of the year...

First I think there will be a tie on the PS3 exclusive game...

The PS Vita will have a few note worthy games.

Now for the 3DS

Now for Xbox 360 exclusive.

As for game of the year....

I still say...

Now, any ideas on my picks? Do you have your own predictions?

You forgot Bioshock Infinite!!

It was sooooo good. I can't wait for the DLC (And I can't believe I just said I was excited about DLC, lol)

Yep Bioshock and Xcom enemy unknown are both contenders as well both games sold alot of games but the rest on your list is right on par.well except you put the last of us twice mmmmm are you hinting to something lol!!

I think that The Bureau and Wasteland 2 could be on that list.  Since I have not played The Last of Us my vote goes to Bioshock Infinite.

I haven't played any of these games except for Ni No Kuni. Arg!

I agree with the last of us as PS3 exclusive of the year, but not game of the year. Movie of the year, sure, but I didn't feel the gameplay was up to scratch, and some of it just felt janky as hell. I had a massive problem with the controls in that game too. That's not to say I didn't like it, I just won't have it on my game of the year list.
Other than that, I haven't played any of them, as I don't actually have consoles to play (borrowed a ps3 to play the last of us)

So the best games are still to come I believe, but so far:

Best Story - Bioshock Infinite
Biggest Disappointment - Simcity
Biggest Surprise - Bit.Trip Runner 2
Best AAA Game - Metro: The Last Light
Best Indie Game - Monaco
Best Game to FINALLY have on pc - Resident Evil Revelations.
Best DLC - Civ 5: Brave New World
Game I'm Most Looking Forward to - Sir, You are Being Hunted

Simcity was a fucking nightmare, I thought the Diablo III crap was bad but Simcity took the cake. I love RE Revelations on the 3DS and heard it did not translate well to the console. I did not hear about the PC version.

The PC version is pretty stellar. There are a few issues (I want more mouse sensativity damnit!) but other than that it's friggin sweet!

What I have read and talk to other people, the controls were a bit stiff. I may pick it up for the PC.

Eh. Theyre the best out of RE PC ports.

Fire Emblem - it brought more new people to the game.
DMC - It came out earlier in the year, but it was an awesome game.

Well giving people the ability for casual play helped. I mean prior games before you had to really plan your attacks because of permdeath.

I think my game of the year so far is actually Tomb Raider. I had more fun with that game than anything else so far. I do appreciate that you loved Ni No Kuni like I did. I have a feeling that South Park has the potential to jump into my GotY selection before it is all said and done though. I think I am actually going to take the day off for that game.

As much as I want South Park to be a great game, I have a feeling it is going to be crap. The hype has been to much and all the THQ stuff.... For your sake I hope it is a good game.

Oh I definitely believe it could go either way. The previews I have heard about and read have been positive at least. I may be hyping myself to much for it though.

It happens. I was kind of Syked for GoW Ascension until I played the demo for it. I held off and just got it this week for $14 from Best Buy. Now I have all of the GoW games on their respected systems.

It has a very good shot. I want to play it but I Know what will happen... Another Viva Pinata incident... Don't ask lol.

I won't ask, but I'm imagining so many things.

Maybe i'm being too mainstream here or whatever but I have very high hopes for GTA V. Of games i've actually played, I would go have to go with The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing as it's the only 2013 release I think i've played. While very good, I don't think it belongs in this conversation.

Bioshock Infinite if only we are able to get an actual "GOTY" packaging where we get all the DLC and extras all on one disc at a discount price. Or else I'll have to give in and just buy the game to enjoy returning to Rapture *drools*

You have excellent choices all around. For me it will be between Bioshock Infinite and The Last Of Us. Have not played Ni No Kuni yet,so I can't comment on that one.
