ever play Valkyria Chronicles? YOu could get that and Ni No Kuni for the price of Xillia. 

Valkyria Chronicles is a great game! So I agree with Snee's reccomendation on that. Along with Ni No Kuni I believe is actually cheaper in some stores atm...I know Walmart had it for $30 not sure if it still is. I just got Xillia yesterday but I have yet to play it since that's gonna be my weekend project.

I was in Walmart last night and Ni No Kuni was $30. I haven't finished Ni No Kuni but I've loved every minute of it. It's a big game, though.

That is a difficult one.  Since I have not played either of them, I would probably get Ni No Kuni first because it is less expensive at this point.  Then pick up Xillia if it drops over the next month or two.

Thanks, guys. The general consensus is for NNK, so I'll be getting that today. Walmart has it for $20, so you can't go wrong with that.  I might consider Xillia in a few months, once the hype train starts to slow down.

Get Ni no Kuni.  You can always get Xillia later.  

Definitely Ni No Kuni. That game is super expansive. It's beautiful to look at, the music is great, and their Pokemon-esque monster system is actually quite good too. And like everyone said it is much cheaper. Not that Xilia is bad, but NNK is better.

Haven't played any of the games and I really don't have a lot of knowledge about either, but if you like the Studio Ghibli films, you'll probably like Ni No Kuni.

From what i have heard go with snee on Valkyrie chronicles and Ni No Kuni when i get my ps3 thats my first two games,

Get Ni No Kuni now and wait on Xillia. I'm having to do that for financial reasons, too, so we can commiserate while everyone else around us is telling us what a great game it is and what we're missing out on.

I say Ni No Kuni, for no other reason than I've seen Miyazaki movies.
