Tomb Raider comics and Microsoft shenanigans!

Been hearing about how Microsoft is once again furiously back-pedaling on it's planned policies. It's good news about the Kinect not having to be on at all times for the console to even function. I have a feeling this is all smoke and mirrors, though. They will get their way eventually,as most corporations tend to do. I just find it funny how many changes they have been forced to make by angry consumers. About a product that is not even out yet. The damage is already done in the minds of many gamers it seems. It all comes down to trust. There is absolutely no guarantee the policies they have changed can't be reversed in their favor once they get a large number of XBOX One consoles into homes. I'm sure the small print will be very interesting this time around. Hey,corporate lawyers need work too,you know? But enough about that nonsense. I wanted to also mention that Dark Horse comics will be doing some Tomb Raider comics[or graphic novel perhaps] which will chronicle story points from the end of this recent game to the start of the next one. I have quite a lot of the old Tomb Raider comics as I am a big fan of Witchblade. The artwork Top Cow used was very similar and there were many crossovers between the two characters. Dark Horse has been putting out a lot of cool game related books lately so I am looking forward to seeing where they take the story. I will leave you with a sample of some covers of the Tomb Raider series. Great writing in these books as well as art.

"You know it's really not as glamorous as they depict in those comics. It's shite!!!!!"

What I'm listening to today...................nothing but UFO! [with and without Schenker..it's all good]

And for the better,I think. She needed to be more like a woman and less of a video game stereotype. Change is good sometimes. Can't wait to see her new comic book look.

Mmmmmm im liking Laura's ummm lack of clothing ha ha ssssshhhhh dont tell my wife so where have you been i never see ya on here much and i dont even see ya on Xbox you must ne a busy man, Microsoft would have been ok if there PRs would have done there job correctly but as it stands they blew it big time and all the bad press making them reverse there DRM policy really made Microsoft look bad, but im not really worried cause im going to wait a year before buying a next gen then after consumer feedback i will have a better perspective, and at tax time im getting a ps3 and some ps3 exclusives to keep me busy for the year.

You will probably see me online quite a bit when GTAV comes out. And when I get a copy of Saint's Row 4. My son and I have been doing a lot of PS1 gaming at night lately, plus work is nuts[we are short-handed for a couple of weeks]. But I am going to try to be on here more. Feel like I am missing out on some good blogs and stuff.

I still ask: how the hell do they think a girl that well-endowed can be that active? She'd get a black eye if she tried running, not to mention all the fancy moves she does. And trust me, she hits a rock face boob-first, she's gonna be hurtin' for a while.

It seems like she would be off-balance at all times. Especially with those skinny little legs. The new Lara is a bit more realistic and more agile.

And every time she's about to shoot a gun, she has to pose to show off the T&A. I'd like to do a short film about that. Hilarious!

Even when she's covered in blood and muck she is. She never has to worry about wrinkles!

That Tomb Raider Journey's comic makes me think a team up with Jonah Hex would be cool.

Microsoft even pulled back on its mandatory-Kinect? Not surprising it's going to take a lot more to regain their reputation. It's like Microsoft was charged with murder and they've pleaded guilty. It helps, but they still got to serve their punishment!

I like how hard MS is trying to win back their loyal gamer base by basically removing all the "next generation of gaming" offerings that the systemw as suppose to push on us. but like you said the damage has been done. I too am holding off in getting an Xbox One till I see how MS will play things out after the fact. Or if a really cool Halo game comes out, whichever comes first.

I like the art style in that third picture of Lara, and Ilike UFO. I honestly don't know how interested or not I can get in the console war any more. I doubt I will get either system, so I just really don't care, honestly.
