Well even though I missed all the betas for Final FantasyXIV I am feeling really confident about this game and put in my preorder in today. I also am finaly taking some time off from work which is the same week FF drops, so I will be taking advantage of that for sure. Speaking of advantage if I did it right there will be a link to a youtube video for a cover of some TMNT video game music by The Advantage at the end of my blogg. Hope you like it.

I also got Soul Calibur V and Brutal Legend while I was at GS. Been wanting to play both for a while but was waiting for the price to get a little lower. Tales of Xillia has really got me hooked so I think I will try and stay with it for the long haul. But I may have to toy around with the new stuff just to see whats up. Other than that I may go see Kick Ass 2 tomarrow, looks like it gonna be pretty good.

That was a pretty cool cover. I'm gonna have to look into those dudes more. It might be a weird transition going from Tales of Xillia to Brutal Legend. The battles you fight are basicly RTS. I couldn't get the hang of that game, but I loved the soundtrack. There's some really hardcore metal on there.

Yeah they cover a lot of the same songs as The Minibosses but have a different style. Don't think I have heard anyone cover these songs before now.

I figured the soundtrack would be the highlight of Brutal Legend, but I heard it was good and scooped it for $5 so not a huge loss if I don't like it.

I wanna see Kick Ass 2 as well, it looks like reviews aren't that bad so I'm excited.

The first one was pretty good and I just read the graphic novel a few weeks back. Its gonna be pretty intense compared to the first one.

Brutal Legend as an awesome soundtrack. It even had my son headbanging around the house. I thought the battle system was a bit hard to get use to. I managed pretty good until I got to the last battle. I was still able to beat the game, but it was a huge pain in the ass. I almost quit.

I'm gonna give it a try today, heard it was unusual in some ways but everyone agrees that the soundtrack is killer.

Thats kind of the tricky part of doing covers of video game music, its designed to loop. They found a really cool way to end it for sure.
