Nintendo please give up on the Wii U. When you have the current Wii out selling your new system it is time to give up. I do not mean to have what is an apparent attempt by stores to stop selling Wii games and trying to use Pokemon to try and sell a system.

I think the Wii U will be okay eventually.  It has dope games coming out.  Maybe it won't be a blockbuster system but it will be chill.

You have to admit Nintendo has bumbled the hell out of this system. The should never have put out the 4gig version focused more on the black one and lowered the price to about 299.00. I might be wrong.

i think their biggest blunder was the name.  People don't know it's not a Wii add-on or what.

I agree with this. When you have to go out of your way to explain it's a completely new console; that's a problem

I think what they didn't put enough thought into was the crazy over the top controller. I'm already put off the the price of controllers for PS3 and the Wii. When or if the controller on your  WiiU peters out just how much is a replacement going to cost, and for that matter can you even get one. I'm sorry but it just seem gimicky as hell and really pointless.

It would have been better if they had some cross-play ability with the 3DS. Instead of that controller.

Yeah, like what they did with the GBA and Gamecube. Plus for a system that is supposed to be aimed at famlies and kids, this set up is sibling strife waiting to happen. I know it would have cause fights between me and my bro if this had came out when we were kids.

Exactley. I think it was awesome you could use the GBA as an island for Animal Crossing. Plus the attachment for the bottom of the GC.

Man,I loved my GBA player. Wish my Cube hadn't died.

See when Nintendo did that it made perfect sense.

I'm not that willing to give up on them right now. If I had the bucks I'd  buy one for Pikmin 3, the eShop Wii U games and what should be coming up this year.

Is there a Pokemon coming out for Wii U? I must have missed a memo.

That's a Pokemon game... not that I'm judging it.

Sony use to have the same problem.  The PS2 was outselling the PS3.  Sony fixed this problem by killing the PS2 and made publishers stop supporting it.  I'm sure Nintendo will do the same, though not all that much was on the Wii to begin with.

Was just about to say this. The Wii-U is the playstation 3 exactly. It just needs a good game to sell the fucking thing.

Well it looks like they will do that with the Wii.

My WiiU is an EXCELLENT dust collector.

That is why I have not gotten one yet.

I'd be sad if they stopped supporting the Wii U. I love the GamePad and I think the system is the culmination of a lot of other work they've been doing with hardware for years. Hopefully they can get some games on the market and move some more systems. There's a lot of potential there if they could get their act together.

Also, Pikmin 3 is so damn good.

I am sure most people would be. My main concern is the way it was first marketed. Two systems? Really, I think the black model should have been the main focus and include the 320gig drive they have for it. Do I want the Wii U to fail? No not really, but it does look bleak.

I hope not. Though I wouldn't mind finding the system on the cheap to enjoy some of their interesting game options, I'd like to see some great things come out with the system. The idea of playing retro titles on the gamepad is almost enticing enough for me to give it a try later this fall maybe.

See the retro games do not appeal to me because I have a NES, SN, N64, GC, etc. Plus they have about the same games on the 3DS so I can take them with me.

Give it time. Many consoles like the PS3 started rough, but they eventually got better, once they started to get their facts together. Let's just hope Nintendo does that.
