I have a computer!

A buddy of mine has really been the biggest fucking life saver around. When I ws able to speak to him about my comp troubles he gave me a link to Newegg that had a bundle deal.

Said Deal http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1243268

I needed something that I can upgrade in coming time and he worked his magical knowledge of computers and found this for me. For 171.99 its not a bad deal. You still would need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and harddrive. But getting the rest for price is pretty nice. Its also easily upgradable which is what I need later on. He also put it togther tonight for me so Im super thankful for him! Expect more comments and blogs!

Awesome! I've found lately that websites ending in "egg" are life savers!

that's a great deal, man.  I wouldn't know how to put one together by myself either though.

It's actually quite easy Matt. There are guides out there that help you with this stuff. I borrowed a magazine from a friend to help me build my first computer a whole bunch of years ago, and it hasn't chnaged that much except for technical details which might be the hardest part of choosing/getting the parts to assemble a PC.

I wish I could do that myself but I would get worried I would screw something up. My friend told me tht it was easy but watching hi do it that one night made me realize I would mess something up O_O

Hahaha the first time you do it it's fine if you're nervous about it because it just makes you that much more careful, and stops you from rushing. After that it's like riding a bicycle, you do it without thinking too much about it. If you have an old, non-functioning computer around go ahead and dissect the damn thing, that way you can learn from any mistakes. Of course it won't work, but that's besides the point. The point is you get comfortable with it. It won't bite you LOL.

If you lived closer to PA, I would be able to hook you up well!

I recently bought a PC and Moniter for $150 here at work. With a few basic upgrades, I turned a refurbished computer into a beast!

Nice! I cant wait to buy some of the upgrade parts for this to turn it into a beast. So far though it will run some games I have been wanting to play.

That isn't too bad, HDs are fairly cheap and most televisions nowadays work as a temporary monitor.

Ill need to buy a bigger HD evetually but for now the one my buddy let me have works perfectly. It has 320GBs so its plenty big enough for the time being.
