Last Guardian still in production

Well the tlitle says it all and thats about it. Despite all the complications the game is still in development but is not being treated as a priority amoung a couple of other games in production by Sony's Japan Studios. Its going to be a PS4 title but it sounds like it is going to be a download only as part of PSN . And there is not even a hint as to when it will possibly be released.

maybe it would be best as an "indie" style downloadable title, so there's less cost and more freedom for it. I dunno.

The more freedom part sounds nice, but to be honest, I was pretty drawn to its graphics, so less money doesn't sound as great to me.

And no release date and the apparent taking a backseat to other titles sounds worse.

have there not been quite a few games whose development stretched on and on only to be a disappointing product? Duke Nukem Forever and Too Human and Prey come to mind.

Was there a news story that confirmed it for PS4? I have only seen that it was rumored by a former employee (though to be honest it seems quite likely at this point).
