Amazing VG Themes: Peaceful Themes

aaaaah. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy these peaceful VG themes. These are themes I listen to when I need to relax or calm my mind. They flow so beautifully. I picked six, but I could have picked twenty if I wanted to, there's a lot of great ones. So recline in your rocking chair, grab some lemonade, and enjoy these great tunes; hopefully they'll lighten your day.
Another Aruni from Chrono Cross/Composed by Yasunori Mitsuda
Chrono Cross is one of my favorite soundtracks. Mitsuda uses many real instruments, including guitar, violins, piano, and voice. Here we have a beautiful theme that incorporates guitar, piano, and light voices in the background. That's it. It's a simple song, yet it is so relaxing. I think CC overall is the most relaxing and beautiful VG soundtrack I have ever heard.
Home Sweet Home from Beyond Good & Evil/Composed by Christophe Heral
This is sorta the main theme of BG&E. It's beautiful, calming, and yet has a feeling of adventure in it. The piano and strings combine and flow so well together. BG&E was a game that actually had character, and the music certainly helped in that regard.
Aquatic Ambiance from Donkey Kong Country/Composed by Dave Wise
This is perhaps one of the greatest themes in all of VG music. Wow! This song amazes me every time I listen to it. It's absolutely beautiful, giving off a feeling of sadness, serenity, and hope all at the same time. One of Dave Wise's best songs; I would say it's a masterpiece.
Of Glittering Tears from Legend of Mana/Composed by Yoko Shimomura
This one opens up with a beautiful combination of voices. The oboe takes over, then the violin comes in, and finally, the xylaphone chime things pick it up from there. There's a lot of variety in this song, and it is all soothing and calming. This may not be everyone's favorite game, but the soundtrack is great; Shimomura, as always, makes it stand it out in a great way.
Ending from Super Mario Galaxy 2/Composed by Mahito Yokota and Koji Kondo
This is not the ending credits theme, just the ending scene to the game. What can I say about this game? It's amazing, just like the first one. I know a lot of people complain about how all the Mario games are the same; go play SMG 1 and 2. This is the storybook theme that is found in the game, the real orchestration making it more beautiful than ever. A clarinet plays at first, then the strings come in and take the melody. It's a simple tune, but it is overwhelmingly peaceful and beautiful.
Shattering Egg of Dreams from Xenogears/Composed by Yasunori Mitsuda
I believe this is the main theme of Xenogears, but I haven't played the game. Once again, it's beautiful, and no surprise, Mitsuda is a master at crafting beautiful themes. Strings and flute dominate the song, with piano playing the melody along with them. Listening to this really makes you feel like you're looking out at the stars.
