So I was over the whole censorship thing. One mission taken out? Who the fuck cares. I was about to buy the game on steam. Nope... have to wait until SEPTEMBER FUCKING 12TH! Why? Who the fuck knows? I know one thing is for certain - NO PC GAMER IN AUSTRALIA WILL BUY THIS FUCKING GAME! One thing about PC gamers: They don't like being fucked over. Expect the piracy rates for this game to go through the roof!

Fuck this game. Seriously. I'm not buying it. It can go fuck itself for all I care.

That sucks. But will say the game is still awesome. Seriously flawed, but awesome nonetheless.

Dude. We've had missions cut out of the game, the game has been banned twice, we can't play co-op and now it gets delayed for a month while everyone else is playing it. I don't give a fuck how good this game is, I'm not playing it.

Yeah, I get that. But I'm still willing to bet at some point you'll be playing this. Whether pirated or legit, I think you will. But if you don't, well, that's some resolve you have.

Not to sound ill-informed but I am. What did they do? Was it being release earlier elsewhere? I have not followed this game so I didn't really understand what went wrong.

In australia it got banned due to drug related incentives. It then got passed on the condition that one SIDE mission was removed. We can't play the game in Co-Op with anyone outside of australia and the game has been delayed for a month.

Ouch! I can see how that would turn one off from buying it. Were these changes because of the developers or Australian laws, or both?

Australian laws. We just received an 18+ rating meaning these games should not be being banned for this sort of content, yet it still is. The delay... I can't find a reason on the net as to why the game has been delayed for so long.

I guess I am confused. Shouldn't you be more upset with your government then the developers? My first assumption is that if they have to remove a level and block your co-op access then they have to change the code. After that they would have to reissue the discs. That means that they would have to get back in line for the disc printers, which I hear can take up to at least 3 weeks. I would guess that with a week to remove/change the code and 3 weeks to print/package/ship the game that would be your month. As for the download I am guessing that they probably want to do a simultanious launch so they are holding that off until they can be sure the discs are ready to go. I feel like your anger may be at the wrong people.
