Mitey is my New Favorite Character

Hey y'all, how are you doing? I'm doing just fine here by the way.

So if you've read my last blog, (or just the title of it) you would know that I'm playing Ni No Kuni currently. I actually haven't gotten that far into it, as this whole week I was scranbling to get my summer reading done before school starts in a week (in fact, I should be doing that right now lol). I have only gotten to about the three hour mark on tha game, but I'm lovng it so much. If you haven't noticed, Mitey in pixel form is my new avatar!

It's games like these that make me step back and think that games could be so much more than just killing machines, and things that get politicians all riled up. They can be devices to communicate a story, an emotion, or a feeling. A great game can change a person just as much as a classic book can cange one.

Unrelated, although still interesting, this next week I'm gonna be in London and Paris sightseeing, so if I don't comment or post anything much, That will be why. I'll try to get wifi in places though and check in once in a while. This trip hactually has a bad side, as I'll be missing my high school freshman orientation! That sucks, although I do have my older sister to show me around. One thing that I hope to see is the Doctor Who Experience, as Stoneheinge is on the way to that and my dad really wants to see that.

So, that's about it. Oh, and one more thing, I have $20 on my Steam account, and the Fallout Collection of Fallot 1, 2 and Tactics is $5 now. Should I buy those now, or should I wait till the next big sale? Thanks!

EDIT: well, it looks like almost immediately after I posted this the sale ended, so any other steam suggestions?

I actually wouldn't take Mitey out of my party in NNK. He's fun. The Fallout games are awesome, but super hard at the beginning so be prepared for that.

Have fun on your trip! I had a connecting flight in Charles de Gaulle airport in France once but I didn't get to see any of the sights. London and Dr. Who, now that sounds like a good time

The Witcher series is on sale right now on steam, I bought the first one and enjoying it so far. Hope you have a great trip!

Mitey Rules! Can't wait till I can get him to evolve. Got about six hrs in then stoped to play Tiny Tina DLC in Borderlands 2. I need to get back into NI No Kuni. Just finished Bioshock Infinite but I'll be jumping into Final Fantasy XIV tomarrow so not sure when I 'll get back to it.I hope to make it to Europe on of these days (I am seriously invious right now,lol).

I should try to get back to Ni No Kuni at some point. I got as far as a section that has you controlling 2 characters at once. One with the left stick and one with the right. You have to avoid holes while moving across a path and the path is falling away behind you.

Not being able to walk and chew gum at the same time, I was unsuccessful 5 times then I swore and turned off the PS3. LOL
