Marketplace is closing August 2013 PC Marketplace is closing August 2013 Overview As part of the recent Xbox 360 system update, Microsoft Points will be retired and the Xbox.com PC Marketplace will be closed as of August 25, 2013. We encourage you to spend your Microsoft Points balance prior to this change. Although you will not be able to purchase new games, you can continue to enjoy previously purchased content by downloading it through the Games for Windows Live client software as usual. Frequently asked questions What happens to the games and downloaded content that I purchased?You can continue to enjoy previously purchased games and downloadable content in your catalog by downloading it through the Games for Windows Live client. Although the purchase functionality will be discontinued, the Games for Windows Live service will continue to operate as usual.Can I still buy Games for Windows Live games?No, the PC Marketplace on Xbox.com will discontinue selling Games for Windows Live titles as of August 22, 2013. No Rook its an update for the xbox live market place you can access it through your pc or windows phone or in game its basicly an update that does away with Microsoft points  its all in game cash now no more ms points.

Your points on the XBox were converted over to your currency, but the PC Games for Windows you had to spend it all early.

No maeketplace is still just like it was its just cash instead of Microsoft points and plus 10 steve is right you just had to spend your windows game points early.7
