My opinion is if its not dirictly in the interest of the US national security we should stay out, the US is not the world police and we have enough to worry about then to go to war with yet another country yes i think its wrong to use chemical weapons on your own people but i dont think its the U.S decision to stop it after all thats what the UN is supposed to do.

I want to know where all the people that called Bush a war monger-er? I guess it is okay for Obama to do it.

I would love to know that too. 

We did this in Bosnia and it ended the war. So as long as its simply a bombing raid and no boots hit the ground I feel its the right thing to do. But don't get me wrong this is still the lesser of two evils and these situations always remind the of the short story by George Owell "To Shoot an Elephant". Plus after Bush pretty much wiped his butt with the Genieva Convention rules we have to show that we do respect and are willing to enforce international law.

No and No. 

I'm with GeminiMan. While I don't believe it should escalate to an invasion, the US does have a responsibility as the global superpower it is to enforce international law. If full-scale war were announced, I'd immediately cry outrage. However, at least this time around, there would be evidence of the WMD. Sigh, I wish life was as dualistic as fiction makes it. 

I say we should stay out of other people's business.  It's not like we don't have enough of our own problems.  Handle shit in your own house before going into others' home and telling them how to run things.
