2DS?  nah, I am getting a VITA.

Wow that looks terrible. Makes me want Nintendo to release a 3DS with an OLED screen. How much is the LCD version going to cost? Haven't seen any price yet.

The LCD is to help keep the costs down so that they can sell it for $200 and still make some money.  So, I need to get a Vita before they stop producing the OLED ones.

I'll keep this in mind when I pick up a Vita. 

Man..that is a difference..Is sony going to phase out the oled screen?? I asuume so?? Sony should give us the option to go with the newer model lcd or pony up some more for that oled screen.

They should give us an option, but they won't.  That is why I feel the need to get the original VITA as soon as possible.

I feel like once I get a vita that I will not be play it..So for now I will wait!

If I were to get it in the next couple of days, I would definitely just set it aside and come back to it in a couple of month.

The old verison looks better then the slim

Which is precisely why I would like to order an original Vita before they are all replaced with the slim.

I was actually considering trading my current vita for the new model but not anymore. Ill keep my oldie but goldie Vita. Thanks for pointing this out!

Holy cow, the difference is crazy

Dammit, that sucks. There really is a marked difference. And I just talked myself out of buying one now. Now the conversation in my head is starting again. What does a person with limited funds to do?

Now, I don't know what to do. I'm saving for a Wii U, but i'm also interested in a Vita and i'm afraid OLED model gets discontinued. I'm mean, what a difference!

Just how the picture looks.  The colours appear to be much more vibrant on th OLED display compared to the LCD.

Makes me glad I got my Vita when I did. If the thing does actually turn itself around (still stand by what I said it'll be dead within a year, though may take longer), I'll at least have the good version.

I do not think that I would be too disappointed if they stopped making games for it.  There is a massive collection of psp and psone games that will one able to make it worth the purchase.

I would prefer a more reliable screenshot than one taken with a handheld camera. I do wonder how much the glare and distance is affecting those shots.

The only other comparison shot that I have seen is from the Uncharted demo.  The only problem with that one is that the colours are already dark and muted so it is more difficult to see the differences.
