So this is more of a personal update. I don't get to post on here that often. The usual is just a update every now and then. Nothing to exciting. With the occassional comment on another blog but in general I just like reading the blogs. But recently I have had an itch that I just can't seem to scratch with what I have usually been doing until I started writing in my college class. I realized how much I love writing and how I have misssed it so. I am not claiming to be a pro or good in any regard but I do just like jotting my thoughts down and seeing what others have to say. Now to be completely honest I don't really care if no one reads what I post on this site or likes it or even thinks its annoying and I should stop. Well I plan on trying to write more because it is a stress relief for me, I have found.

So why not write about something that I love. I love video games. Plain and simple. I thought long and hard about trying to minimize the personal updates but it actuality that's all I really can write about. I don't really like reviewing games, like sure I have my opinions but breaking a game down to its technical merits and judging it really isn't my thing. I do like analyzing things to the point of no return and finding meanings in things that aren't even there. I just want to write and I don't really know about what, but I would like to. This is the perfect avenue for me right now. 

So you don't have to read my stuff or comment. I would just like to have the opportunity to just post what I want judge free and in a safeish environment. I have been here a decent amount of time since 1UP shutdown and the community has been good to me here. I have not been the strongest contributor to the community but I am going to try to be better. I do realize I have a problem with writing too much and that will continue to happen. Once I start writing, I just keep going so my blogs, like they always have will be on the long side. Thank you.

I am stepping back myself and really do not know if I will move forward with anymore posts. You just need to do what will work for you. I may read from time to time and not comment.

I understand where you are coming from. I took a break for awhile and just was chillin in the shadows just reading blogs and not much else. Like you said, do what you gotta do. Either way you got to make yourself the priority.

I write blogs just because it feels nice.  I haven't been blogging as much as usual, had a bit of writer's block, but I still love it.  I blog like other people breathe!  Laughing

It's fun to write, and if you feel like doing it, go for it.  It doesn't always matter if lots of people comment or read it, or whatever, as long as you enjoy doing it and putting it out there. 

A lot of people read and don't leave comments though.  You'd be surprised what people are interested in!

Yea I am finally understanding that if its what I love that I just got to go for it. And I guess there are probably a lot of people who just read blogs being that I was one of them for a long time.

I blog and reveiw games cause its my passion and whether or not a blog is about games is irrelevant if it interesting I will comment ant if people are interested in my game blogs and reveiws thats good but if not im not worried everyones taste in games are different and mine has to do with the 360 and ps2 and if a blog is about the vita thats fine I wont read it because im not interested so whether or not anyone reads my stuff or not im expressing my interest and if someone else shares in that great.

I was all worried that people wouldn't read or like what I was posting. But in reality it doesn't matter because what I put out here is an extention of who I am and if people don't like that...oh well. Not everyone is going to like me or what I write. I finally have come to terms with that. I am going to do what I enjoy and get the most out of it.

Yea its very disappointing when you do a blog and no one comments etc but like snee said alot of people probably read it and dont respond I mean I always post about xbox360 but alot of people dont own a 360 but I p I st because of the few that do. It does seem like most people play the 3ds and blog about it alot and I really dont comment because I dont own one.

Agreed, I feel like a lot people that post alot go through phases of just wanting to read and I like to read all the stuff just for different opinions on things and just to broaden my horizon. I don't own a Vita but I like reading about it, may convince me to get one some day.
