According to Media Create's report for week ending September 15th. Monster Hunter 4 for the 3DS sold 1.7 million copies in it's first day on the market. (It was released September 14th I think).

Along side that approximately a quarter of a million 3DS systems were sold in Japan that week. Wow, what is going to happen when Pokemon X and Y hits? The mind boggles.

You'll have lots to play when you do get one. :)

I bought Tri on the Wii but didn't play it for very long.

I will need a 3DS XL for this. Those monsters will be easier to catch on a bigger screen.

Yep, more real estate, that's the ticket! Of course that didn't help me on the Wii but then I suck at these sorts of games

Wow! This makes the series' strong performance on PSP look weak by comparison. I mean, yeah I think one of the games on PSP sold almost 4 million copies, but that was over the course of several years!

They might do it if enough people go for the half price MH 3 Ultimate sale that is going on over at the eShop this weekend. I don't have a Wii U but the 3DS version is $19.99 all weekend.
