I bought Diablo 3 on PS3 the other day, and have been loving it. I was worried about the controls too, but it feels nice. I don't miss the insane amount of clicking lol. It does seem a little simplified in comparison to Diablo 2. Still a lot of fun though.
Something other than GTA V

It seems I am the only person on my college campus not playing GTA V or in the gaming world haha. I totally okay without. I like the GTA franchise but I just can't afford much these days. Money is tight so I am just playing what I have and cutting some of the backlog fat.
I have nothing against the GTA series. I think that GTA V looks incredible and even though I haven't played it, it probably has earned all the reviews. I am looking forward to the multiplayer more just so I can play with some friends. But whenever the game goes on a price drop I will be picking it up since it looks really intense. I prefer FPS and RPGs compared to the third-person games. But if the game is fun, I will play anything. I am not a picky gamer.
The interesting thing coming from Blizzard is that they are getting rid of the Auction House in Diablo 3 which is very interesting to me. I think the console version looks awesome but I prefer my Diablo the traditional way on the PC. I will always prefer D2 over D3 but with the Auction House being removed, it could leave room for the PC version to have an offline mode. I would prefer that especially with the announcement of the new expansion planned for release next year. We will just have to wait and see what happens there, but I plan on my next newer game to be one of the D3 versions.
I am currently not playing GTA V like everyone else. But rather I started Bioshock Infinite a couple weeks ago and I haven't been putting too much time into. I don't have much time to game lately. What I have played of it, it is amazing and everything that I expect from the Bioshock series. I loved the first game and this one takes me back there. The living Utopian-esk society is amazing and the art style is great. But I prefer the system shock feel of the first Bioshock.
The story is really engaging and interesting so far. I love the 'merica feel to the game. The alternate history told through the old single frame movies is great. I just keep exploring the world trying to find out more about it.
Thanks to the Konami Code, I am playing the 1999 Mode which is pretty difficult. I love hardcore challenging games and this is right up my alley. Having to methodically plan each encounter is so much fun and what I really want to get out a game. Having to plan an attack and then it being successful is rewarding. But an even better feeling is failing initially and having to go back to the drawing board and being able to try a completely different approach to that situation and succeeding. That there is the best.
Other than that, like I said, I haven't had much time to play games. I did discover a free to play on XBLA that is simply fantastic. Happy Wars. If you want an action rpg with a mix of strategy and moba then check it out. I will let you do the discovering. I will write a full impression of it later because the game was so surprisingly good. It is nothing complex, just simple fun.
That is all for now. Enjoy the rest of the week my friends and go have an adventure.
