This blog is in no way bashing GTA 5, but at the midnight release for it in ther places some incidents occured which I think is worth looking at it and knowing. Were better off being armed with every singe bit of knowledge then entering a fight with nothing. Fight you may ask?  Well ladies and gentlemen lets face fact, video games have always been in the spotlight because of the violent factor. This wont be helping the case that were adults and can handle our shit side of the arguement.

Firstly, I dont believe in the video game made me do it arguement or that video games make people violent. Ive played them damn long enough that if that was the case I would have probably killed 20 people by now. However the governmment seems to think that it has to be the video games people play that makes them go batshit nuts which clashes with my other belief. I have a personal belief not every single person on this planet is born with good motives. With those 2 combined it makes complete fucking sense of why people do half the shit they do.

What I see happening is were gonna end up with more taxes on things they classify as violent. Vice President Joe Biden as already said a statement about trying to pass it through. I dont believe thats right becaue I dont agree with the whole video games make you violent statement. As far as kids getting a hold of games they shouldnt let me share this, last week on friday I went and paid my Wii U bunde off and a mom was there  with her son who was probably 6 years old pre-ordering him call of duty ghost. Let that sink in people.

Just a friendly reminder, that if you dont agree with me, ITS PERFECTLY FINE! I view things differently that doesnt mean we cant agree to disagree on things and be nice to each other. I like chating and blogging on here with all of you whether we agree or not. I hate seeing people leave the site and thats what it seems to have been coming to. I want my family on pixlbit to stay :(

I appreciate all your comments and love reading yalls blogs!

yeah we were arguing about this yesterday in the pixlbit staff chat room.  I don't believe games are at fault either, and I think it's lame people pick on them.  what video games did Hitler play, after all?

I know that's just a silly joke, but the point is real: people have always been violent.  They would be violent with or without games.

Excatly! The joke my be silly but it makes the most perfect utter fucking sense to the arguement. I wish everyone would see theses points and just think logical about it!

Who is going to be the one to sit there are decide what is considered violent?  Everybody sees things differently.  What I consider extremely violent might be the norm for somebody else.  What really bothers me is that we end up having to pay the price for other people's stupidity....

Nowadays as a parent you have treasure troves of information at your fingertips, yet so many people seem content in their ignorance.  If it is a videogame, how bad can it be?  It's just a toy.

On a side note, love this comic... culture-of-violence.

Anything with a mature rating will probably be considered violent. Thats my guessing bet on it. You have a great point though on deciding how they could deem what violent. My parents always knew what I playing, if they didnt think I could handle it or that is was not age apporiate I couldnt touch it. Some parents of today literally give their kids these games and its like, what? I wouldnt have been able to even lift  the case for that game as a kid.

We prolly will pay the price on others idiocy but trust me, we wont go quiet into that horriable night!

best...comic...EVER!

Well Nicole the ESBR is there for a guideline for people to follow and a 6 year old playing Ghost is absurd thats like giving a six year old a penthouse mag Really!!! But other peoples ignorance is why we loose so much always has been and unfortunately always will be.

Yes but in todays society people dont even pay attention to it. Atleast the mother of that 6 year old didnt. I swear its the shit that makes you go "WTH?" Honestly I woldnt be shocked if by the age of 8 he has playboy mags, that might be piss poor of me to say but if at 6 your gonna let him play COD Ghost you might as well let him see porn 2 years later.

P I totally agree its Iresponsible parents who let the consoles babysit there kids without checking out what there letting them play but parents shouldn't be using consoles to play babysitter in the first place.

This stuff that happens is why games get bad rep with the media. I mean we are all mature people and we would never do that, but we usually have to pay the price because of the stupidity of others. No game, I mean no game is worth going to jail or killing over. I mean I have no problem with midnight releases, but this behavior is unexcuseable. Imagine when the PS4/XB1 comes out? I remember people got into fights over launch PS3's, I wasn't there but I saw it in the news, and the news being the news will slam games. I wish that everyone will just shut up and play games, sure the usual agree and disagreement is welcome but not to the point of violence.

I agree, this is only the beginning of the shitstorm about to come. I know the launch of next gen will be ballistic. We can only hope that maybe more precaution are put in and maybe just a dash of sanity will accompany people that day since a freaking cup of it would be asking to damn much. Violence isnt needed at all but we live in a world with  batshit crazy people :(
