hope you feel better!
I really have to get GTA. I can't wait to play that game.
I can't believe you play Madden on your phone. I heard that game was terrible.

So get this Pixlbit, Fall is here and what is the first thing that greeted me to the end of Summer? The sniffles. Yep, oh cruel, cruel Fall, trying to sneak in a cold so I could be miserable instead of not having to worry about the heat (it’s still going to hit 100° in my little part of Southern Californaia)
How are ya, Pixlbit? Everything good? A couple of things happened this weekend, for starters I didn’t play much because I was helping out a family friend lay down some tile in his house
That’s my foot!
Props to the guys and gals who do that for a living. Lots of tough work, but in the end, it turned out pretty darn good. I did have a little free time which means I managed to sneak in some gaming…but not a lot especially since it was the weekend.
NCAA Football
I started a new career as the OC for the Virginia Tech Hookies. After going undefeated I was offered the position of head coach at
Yeah I’m not a fan of bYu, but I do like that they are independent, have some different uniforms, and after a couple of seasons, one of the schools I want to run will probably open up.
And EA is still taking me for a dollar at a time.
GTA V
I decided to take on some missions because the money was running low…and I encountered a glitch!
I drove over the yellow icon, and I couldn’t move or get out. I now have this fear so every time I see this yellow icon, I stop the vehicle before it, and walk to the yellow icon to trigger the next portion of the game.
My brother pointed out Neptune’s Net, so naturally I had to go visit because of a certain street racing movie
The game’s version (top), and the real spot (bottom)
The scene from Fast and the Furious
Speaking of the Fast and the Furious. Just like what I did on Midnight Club Los Angeles, I tried to create some cars from the F&F movies (hey Midnight Club and GTA V has basically the same map)
I tried to make the lime green Mitsubishi Eclipse. I then proceeded to lose the car when I tried to put it in a garage. That was money well spent
I upgraded the heck out of a raised truck, and then used the iFruit app on my iPhone to create a custom license from Biker Boyz. If I would have known I would only have one (that’s what I get for not reading the text) I would have gone with another plate, but oh well.
Treasures Of Montezuma Blitz
I hit my second 60,000 jewel scratch card in less than a week! I also hit a new career high last night while watching Dancing With The Stars (I’m rooting for Bill Nye, Jessie Spano, and Staci Karosi because of Saved By The Bell)
Real Racing 3
I really like the improvements in this game. It’s easier to get cars, and to upgrade than previously.
One of my favorites is the progress bar that shows up after every race that shows you how long you have until you have to get your car serviced.
Everything is still basically the same, and it sucks that my original progress didn’t get saved from my old Nexus 7, but it’s fun to go back and race. I’m finished with the opening level, and I’ll probably play the bonus races I unlocked until my car for the next level is unlocked
Hopefully soon I can unlock some Porsche’s as well
Madden 25th on Android
I saw this while eating breakfast and thought it would be interesting to try out
The game uses touch and swipes to get your player going. I thought it was a little awkward at first but got use to this. I replayed the tutorial a couple of times just to get some of these gestures down
The main menu is straightforward. I wasn’t expecting anything close to the PS3 version, but it was easy to navigate.
I haven’t had a chance to actually play a game, but when I was looking around, it looks like you go through a series of Solo Challenges to unlock some new cards and what not. Sounds fun.
Speaking of cards I received a pack of cards
I got some decent cards, but I’m assuming the big names of the NFL will probably have to be earned through the Solo Challenges.
Graphically the game looks like late released original Playstation football games like GameDay. Big player models, a little boxy, but they look fine.

iOS7
So I updated my phone to iOS7, and so far it isn’t bad. I do like it when Android fanboy needs to prove to themselves how great their phone is when a new iOS is released by posting on Facebook/Twitter.
Here’s my take on this (it also works with consoles, and anything else really): Look if it works for you, great, but also realize if it’s different for someone else, it doesn’t make it better or worse. I get you like your OS/Console/whatever, but please stop with “XX reasons why this is better than that.” Who cares? Is someone who just dropped $200-400 gonna say “S**t I made a mistake. Thanks for the info, I’m going back to swap items.” Nope, they bought it because they like it, and suits them. I own a PS3. I don’t go around saying 360 is crap. Why? Because there are things that people love about it, and all that matters is that they enjoy it, and I get that.
Anyways I do like the new features, and it looks pretty
I do like how the screens are represented in iTunes.
There are a handful of bugs but that will be fixed with patches. I do like iTunes Radio because it's already included in the music app, so I don't have to have an additional app like a Spotify or Pandora (I still keep Pandora). One thing I would fix ASAP is the ability to not only connect in home sharing a little faster (it's still a pain), but also have your playcounts return. I have a lot of playlists that rely on playcounts and having this feature that worked well in the previous version of iOS not work correctly is annoying.
Android
I saw the download update icon and I got excited because I thought KitKat was finally here
Nope it was a minor update for Jelly Bean, which is cool, but I was ready for the next version of Android
Music
No purchases this past weekend but I’ve been listening to Best Coast’s album Crazy For You, which is really good. I was looking through the Google Play Store, and for some reason it knew I was listening to them because it also recommended Crazy For You (I must have searched for it on Google Play before buying on iTunes). I decided to look see what else they had for Best Coast and found a live five song set…for free
I’ll copy it over to iTunes later on.
And finally, former Aztec Tight End Gavin Escobar scores his first touchdown for my Cowboys last weekend! GO AZTECS!
Well that's all for now, more later!

Thanks! I hope it's nothing more than just a runny nose.
GTA is fun. It's like playing a new San Andreas for me. It's a good game, and I think Toys R Us is offering a gift card with purchase.
I haven't really played it yet. I actually tried it on my tablet. There is no way I could play this game on my phone (iPhone is too small for this). I can see this game being terrible, but I'll give it a try.
