I am a die-hard GoW fan-boy, but the series is getting dull, sure the game "Looks" awesome....
Let me just say this, I am glad I bought this game on sale. This GoW just feels like a game that was put out there so fans like me could have a game, if that was the case then they could have kept it and worked on a better version for the Vita. I mean one of the Trophies is if you level up a magic by one. I will enjoy going around and ripping enemies apart but that will be about it. I may even try to 100% it.
Other things I am working on, what movie to post Friday.
I just finished up "Let Sleeping Corpses Lie." I cannot put my finger on why, but it has to be one of my favourite horror films ever.
God of War was always a fun series. I wish that I had gotten past Posiedon in the third game, I just did not have the patience at the time.
That is a grind house movie right? Like from the late 60's or early 70's.
I need to go back through the third GoW and get the Trophies.
1974, by Jorge Grau. Also known as "The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue." I found it during my Blue Underground phase. Blue Underground distributes a bunch of foreign horror films from the 70s and 80s.

I bought Ascension before the Summer started, but I still haven't gotten to it. I just bought the Origins Collection too. GOW 1 and 2 were so great.
GoW 1 and 2 were awesome.
They are both so amazing. I always gush over them while I'm replaying them. I just can't help it. The controls are so smooth and the camera angles just perfect. What an amazing show those games are.
When I first heard about this game, I thought to myself, "Why". Like you stated, I felt they made this game just to make a game and make more money. I'll probably get it when I see it real cheap. The GoW series could of ended on such a high note. All these extra games are bringing it down.
I played the Demo when it came out and was not impressed at all, so I waited, then it went on sale so I picked it up. I am still not very impressed, it is almost like I am just going through the motions with this game.
I felt that way when I played through Chains of Olympus. I played through it before I played GoW3. I was afraid I would be done with GoW by the time I got to 3. I played 3 and I had fun (more than I did with CoO), but I knew I didn't have anymore interest in the series after playing 3. I felt the story was told and done with.
I plan to eventually get this game, but I have kept putting off buying it. When I recently noticed that it had dropped in price I almost ordered it, but ended up getting a couple other games instead. I liked the first 3 games, but for some reason I've had the feeling that I will feel similar to you do once I play it-that it will just be the same old same old.
This one will disappoint you. Wait until it is dirt cheap.
I'm so sorry to hear. PSN Pass really screwed that game up....
