Breaking Bad is and always has been amazing. It definitely has its flaws, but its a great show. Also, I thought the third last ep was the true ending. That was masterful.

So I managed to catch up on Breaking Bad just under a week after the series finale. I'm hating myself for seeing this show earlier. Some time during the third season, I began having the feeling that the entire series was written prior to filming. Nothing in the show felt out of place or irrelevant. In fact, the entire run seemed very lean and streamlined to me.
While the finale has gotten some flak for being too happy, I found it to be a fitting end to the story of a man caught up in his schemes. This brings me to my thoughts on Walter White. Most described him as a monster or a criminal mastermind. I didn't feel that way. To me, Walter was a man who consistently did what he had to to keep himself safe in a world he was caught up in. He did terrible things, like poison a child and set up the murders of several men, but he did this to survive. He had to find a roundabout way to kill Gus Fring to avoid rousing suspicion. Yes, it was an awful choice, but there seemed very little other way for him to set up the assassination. And the men were a peril to Walter's freedom. There was always the chance they would rat him out, no matter what Mike asserted about them.
Maybe I'm sympathizing too much with a fairly unsympathetic character, but I felt as if he caught himself into unrelenting circumstances and had to react accordingly.
What did everyone else think of Walter White and the series finale of Breaking Bad?
So I've had a few hours with the Battlefield 4 beta and am suitably impressed with the game. Even on the PS3, it's visually impressive, aside from some annoying glitches like portions of the immediate environment popping in and out, including players in some instances.
It took a bit to get used to the guns available in the beta, but once I did, I was hooked. They have a good amount of controllability and with the slightly changed damage model, seem just a bit more reliable than the common BF3 weapons.
I'm having fun and can't wait for the full release!
