Now here's a song with heart

Heart Beats

From: Zombies Ate My Neighbors

Remixed by: Mazedude

We continue our celebration of October with another creepy piece from OCRemix, this time from Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Sure, this song sounds kind of creepy by itself but the factor goes way up when you find out that all the sounds used are sampled heart beats (hence the title). There has obviously been a lot of manipulation of the samples but still...everything you hear comes from actual heart beats. That's pretty incredible! Personally, I picture a mad scientist's lab late at night, grotesque experiments and creations covering the grimy steel tables, living specimens still in cages along the wall. And in the center of it all is a glass jar, the heart inside still beating...beating...beating...

Could fit in well in a Luigi's Mansion game.

I could see that. It does have a sort of goofy sound at times, but that's just the kind of game ZAMN was Smile

Not bad not bad. Gave itself enough macabre at the beginning with the heart beats but left much to be desire for me when it comes to a more, darker, forboding halloween mood. Laughing A nice warmup but I crave for more darkness!

*sinister laugh*

More darkness, huh? Did you try listening with the lights off? Tongue Out

I personally see this song played in a Laboratory level in a SNES game. Fitting as this song is from a game of that era.

It really keeps that game-ish feel and has an almost chiptune sound at times.
