I want to buy Zone of the Enders pretty bad and money has been tight.
Anyway, happy belated birthday. IT's cool to be in your thirties.

Hello all,
I haven't written anything in a while, just wanted to throw up a quick update. I believe I had mentioned I had started a new job in my last blog (2 months ago!), and I have been tirelessly working. I haven't had much gaming time. But try to when I can, the backlog grows as I still jump on game deals (see below).
One major event at the beginning of September was my birthday. The big 3-0! We did it big, went to Las Vegas for a week. It was crazy, fun, drunken and ridiculous. Met some awesome girls from Canada and now I wish I could move there, lol. Nonetheless that was a memorable trip and I am glad we did it. We had an early departure flight and we had just stayed up all night our last night and then went straight to the airport after drinking all night and got on the plane, it was insane.
But on the gaming side of things, here is what I have managed:
Currently Playing
Borderlands 2 (PS3)
This was one of the games I have wanted to play ever since it was announced and I FINALLY started. I chose the commando because the turret is really useful, especially when you level it up. About 2 hours in so far.
Purchases (since last blog…2 month haul)
Crysis 3 (PS3)
I originally was going to buy this only for PC. But dealing with PC games is such a pain in my opinion and I just love using a controller and console. I was trying this game out it and it's awesome in both gameplay and graphics. Now to beat Crysis 2 first, lol.
Goldeneye 007: Reloaded (PS3)
This game was $8 and I kind of wanted it so I figured why not. The reviews for it online are pretty good as well. I must have atleast one James Bond game per console.
Dead Space 3 (PS3)
I prefer games on console and this was another $10 pickup. Series is good fun.
Saints Row: The Third (PS3)
Blame how awesome Saints Row IV looks for this purchase, lol. That and the Grand Theft Auto V hype train. As you can probably tell by now, I wait for games to drop way down in price before I purchase, so this will serve until those games are reasonably priced.
Zone of the Enders HD Collection (PS3)
I saw this was on sale at Amazon for $13 and jumped all over it. I like to buy these classic PS2 games HD-ified for PS3 with trophies. I have played and completed these games before on PS2 and I loved them. I want to buy them before they start getting difficult to find.
Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection (PS3)
Like above, I wanted to buy this while it is still readily available. Loved Budokai 1 & 3! I think this game might end up being rare in the future as it is already kind of expensive, even used. That and I never see it anywhere…
And that's all I got time to write for today. Thank you everyone for reading. I will try not to wait so long between blogs next time.
The first Borderlands is really cool, probably one of my favorite games this gen. Playing through the second so far it's more of the same, nothing wrong with that.
I've played through the beginning of SR: The Third and it starts out on a high note. It's really wacky. I hear the second one is really good, it more serious than the third though.
Happy 30th! Was taking a break from Borderlands 2 but been playing since yesterday again with this whole loot hunt thing they got going on. Each day a certain enemy has a 100% drop for a unique or legendary weapon. Once you get said weapon there will be a certain enemy that you have to go kill as many of as you can. At the end of the week if the community goal is met you get another legendary as a prize. Today you can get a Hornet by defeating the Boom brothers.
www.Borderlands2loothunt.com This is where you can sign up.
You don't have to play multiplayer, but you do have to sign up with Shift and be connected to the interenet for it to work. The cool thing is that they are setting up the challenges in the order you would playing through the story. So folks just getting in can get in on the action.
I picked up borderlands 2 this week as well as part of a steam sale. The whole loot thing is new, but really refreshing in a world full of dull run of the mill shooters. I love Hd collections too, and I'm gonna pick up the kingdom hearts one eventually. I've never played zone of the Enders, but giant mechs look cool so I'm totally gonna look into that. And happy late birthday!
