So I Just Joined Tumblr.....

I've been interested in Tumblr since I found about it a year ago, but it was only now after visiting some pages that I got the temptation to try the site.

Now, I know the site isn't safe (I know about NSFW content that is around the site) and i've heard and seen some of what they call the "social justice" crowd, which is as far as I know, extreme liberatism, but I will mostly stay away from it and I shouldn't have problem ignoring those things.

I just started my page today and I was kinda dissapointed that they took out the main hub that was a year ago that made you look at the latests most shared stuff (saw some excellent stuff), but other than that, i'm not having any problem.

Anyway, here's my page:

Neat. I've been curious about tumblr lately. I guess it's like your own web site sans paying for a domain name?

Well, Tumblr is more like a social site in the vein of Facebook and Twitter, only that is (mostly) focused on sharing stuff around people. Lots of gifs and pictures abound the site and yes, it's free of ads.

I believe I had a tumblr page but sort of left it to collect dust. Given your page looks so much better than mine,perhaps it was for the best. lol.

I got one too but haven't used it much. since MySpace killed thier blogging tools I thought about using them. I'll add you to see how things go.

I'll add you right away. Honestly, though it allows for blogs, Tumblr is more for quick posting and sharing, but it's still good.
