A couple of quick thoughts.

This blog is going to be quick and sweet.  I am really in the mood to sit down and write something again, but my thoughts are too scattered at the moment.  I figure that if I get rid of some of them now I will be able to come back with something that is actually worth reading later.

I got an email from amazon.com the other day in regards to my Ys:  Memories of Celceta pre-order.  They said that they pushed back the release date of the game.  Upon reading the email I became really annoyed, but have since calmed down.  Apparently the November 5th release date was just a place holder and Xseed has not announced the official release date.  That being said, they are still trying to release the game by the end of the year.  That is exciting.

I sat down and put nearly 10 hours into Etrian Odyssey Untold.  I am enjoying myself immensely.  I cannot wait to get back to the game later.  I am having a few issues with the game, but that is my own fault.  I probably should pay attention when the characters are giving me little tutorials.

Lastly, I am feeling like spring cleaning.  I suppose that it would be autumn cleaing.  Either way, I think that I am going to look through all of my games and clean out the games that I do not expect to play at all, or the ones that I have no intention of finishing.  I did this last a year and a half ago when my ps3 died.  It just feels like time to do it again.

Being selfish, I like the push back for Y's as I have far too many games to play at the moment. Hopefully it does get released this year though; it sucks to get the heads up so close to the release date shown.

November 5th seemed like a legit date.  Normally they seem to put December 31st as the place holder.  I will agree, I have a large collection of games that I need to work through before that game comes out.  It is even worse because the games that I want to work through are all RPGs.

i was curious about Ys too.  that makes sense though I guess.

Etrian Odyssey is a lot of fun.  Very zen.  I need to get back to four but I just bought DQ6 and I'm loving it.

I still have DQV to finish.  Damn too many RPGs.

In the end, pushing back the release date is usually a good thing for the consumer. Hopefully, it means a betterproduct in the end.

It sounds like nihon falcom has been busy with another game and so the localization of Ys has taken a back seat.  i hope that means a better product in the end.

Need to do a clean-spree myself. Sorry the newest Y's game got delayed though. I loved Y's Origins and Y's 7!

The delay is a good thing.  More time than I expected to hopefully knock off at least one of the RPGs on my list before it's release.  Hopefully 2 games.

I look at it this way, better to wait and get a complete finished game then to get one glitched sooner right Wink.

I turned off the sound on my 3DS while playing Etrian Odyssey Untold to save some battery power and then I realized your party reminds you what are the best attacks for a given creature just before the battle. So I moved the volume up just enough to hear them.

and that's why I don't preorder games anymore. I could use the money for more current games soon to be out.

10 hours into that game? sound pretty good!

Spring cleaning?!? pah! Do you plan to get rid of those games you figure you'll never finish?
