Watch_Dogs Delayed to Mid-2014 (At The Earliest)

Another Rayman situation, only this time it was a marquee next-gen title. I wouldn't be surprised if the discs were already being printed at this point.

To begin with, it didn't make much sense that they'd release an open-world game like this alongside AC4 in such a crowded holiday season. And they're likely worried about GTAV sucking the oxygen out of the room for such games on Christmas. But those are things they should've considered a long time ago, not a month before the game was ready to come out.

But on the bright side, it gives people more time with Los Santos at least. :p

How do you feel about this? Were you picking up Watch_Dogs at launch? If so, what are you gonna get now?

Well fuck. This was a major selling point for next gen consoles, and it was our first real glimpse into their power. Kind of a let down that it's not a launch title anymore.

At the same time, people who played/saw the game at conventions suggested it simply wasn't ready yet. This may end up helping the game by giving it more time in the shop...assuming stuff like Destiny and Titanfall don't steal all the hype anyway.

Had I not already canceled my PS4 pre-order, I probably would now. This is the game that I wanted to tide me over until Infamous.

This certainly doesn't help the case for going all-in on day 1 with next gen consoles. Even with Watch_Dogs I haven't been convinced.

Not really bummed but just glad I won't be buying early. Just not enough games for me to warrent a buy. I got to much love to share with my PS3 and my Xbox 360. The recent sales of the dead offer on PSN is a great example.
