Get me all excited there and no link? Well here's one for ya: http://www.destructoid.com/there-may-be-hope-yet-for-a-ni-no-kuni-ds-localization-251364.phtml The Japanese DS version has been out since 2010 and you can play it on any DS, or 3DS for that matter, if you can handle the menus in Japanese, but apparently a translated 3DS version may happen. This article says the DS version is not as good as the PS3 version, but I don't care. If it comes to 3DS, I am all over it day-one.

Sorry, I got a little excited.lol. I would like to see it on the DS or the Vita even if it is some what watered down version of the PS3 one.

I've heard that the DS version required the use of a large real life book of spells because you need to know how to draw the symbols on the screen. It's seems like a really bad design choice. Who is going to carry around this book to play a portable game? But, I would hope they would just take the PS3 version and scale it down for 3DS. I'd love to draw the spell symbols with the stylus ala Okami and Okamiden.

Yeah the DS Ni no Kuni game has been out in Japan for a few years and the PS3 version is actually an enhanced version of that game with a reworked battle system.

Really hope I can play Ni No Kuni, so I support of the original DS game to come. I can be fine if it's instead the PS3 version adapted to the 3DS.

Is that even possible? Technical or otherwise?
