In today's blog, The Original Ser outlines new segments for episodes of an old classic.

Casually Hardcore is one step closer to returning more frequntly. I've been fliming footage and dreaming up new segments to fit into a new formula that the show will follow. In the past, CHC had actually been purposely different every time, though eventually the three subjects that the show tended to follow sort of stuck.
Based on this, CHC will now have recurring segments, especially since I have such a massive backlog. Seriously guys, it's huge (totally what she said, but that's another story.) The first major segment that will be featured will be called, "Late 2 the Party." in which I choose two games from my extensive backlog (and seriously, it's literally - literally - 700 games deep) and see whether or not i want to see them through to the end. Gauge thier staying power. And of course, show you what they're all about with direct footage. I have subject mater for 350 episodes, and if need be, I could branch it off as its own series if CHC falls through again. No shmups though. That's what Bullet Heaven is for, and I need to get to episode 100!
The second recurring segment is unnamed, but will follow Indie games, be it for PC, console, mobile or handheld. But mostly for PC. There are a bunch I have already, so there's plenty to see. I'm sure I'll come up with something snappy but for now, I've got nothing. And again, no shmups.
There will be exposés on collectors editions too, not to mention loose LCD games and other rare stuff like I sorta showed off in my other blog earlier this week. I've got a lot of neat stuff,. but I won;t go too far into that. It's a surprise! Shh!
And finally, as always, I'm going to be filming live events, such as PAX East and possibly others (like maybe - maybe - HalCon and, as a bit of a bigger stretch, California Extreme. Maybe.)
Hopefully CHC Episode "Three" will be a thing soon, so long as I don;t get discouraged (and it happens almost daily, so we'll have to see about that.) But I have the footage for two games already, and a few other things I can film as well. So fingers crossed.
Oh, I didn't have any pictures today. I guess this one will have to do:
**EDIT**
Wait, no, I totally forgot about this:
WHATUP.
This is a screenshot of the game-end score after the credits in the original Starfox. George and I, we got into a bit of a thing on PPR about this in Episode 71 of the podcast. This screencap was done by a viewer on a live stream, and is solid proof for George to see that I did, indeed, do it. The original Starfox requires you to get a 100% score on every single stage as you play them. No backsies like Star Fox 64. So Booyah, George, perfect game. Alright, now I'm out.
