Even though I am not going next gen, I have been keeping and eye on the specs and post about the new consoles. I do not think the visuals on either are not a great leap in tech from what we have now. I do think the PS4 has the edge on the Xbone though as far as a sleeker looking console and the use of Netflix and Hulu plus without having to be a special member, fuck you Xbone on that front. I do not like the design of the DS4 controller, I think it could do better without the touch pad, but that is me. Anyway Go PS4 and Go to Hell Xbone.

I really do not count the Wii U as Next Gen. I pales in comparison to both the Xbone and PS4.

Yeah! Go Wii-U! I want it to win this console war! Who cares about top notch specs and all this multimedia stuff. I want my Pikmin 3, and my WInd Waker in just fine 720p thank you and nothing else. (slightly tongue in cheek here, because no way in heck is it going to win anything, but it's won MY heart this holiday).

When I can afford it I'll probably get a PS4. Before that I'll still likely get a PS3 and 2DS. lol.

nah, fuck Halo. But PS4's driving game got pushed back, and even watch dogs got delayed. there's not a lot to play on the PS4 except for Knack and Killzone. well, anyway, I'm not getting one soon. I think I'm going PC style

I really could care less about the PS4 and especially Xbone. I'm so tired of this gen and next gen has me saying meh on every level. My next purchase console wise will be a SNES. I can't wait to play some classic RPGs.

I think the bigger talking points will be/can be improvements in the user interfaces. What people really want is better operating systems (menu navigating, better downloading speeds) this time out. I'm sure the games will be impressive visually but most will blabber on and on about the OS and new controllers.

Neither console really has the power to get the them where people want them. If they want that they need to build a gaming PC rig.

If I do eventually get into the new console generation it will be PS4 and Wii U. That's a big if though. It is more likely that this will be my last generation.

For the next gen consoles I'm going to follow what I did for this current gen: get a Playstation a couple of months after it's release, and then pick up an X-Box towards the end of it's life cycle.

There's no point for me to buy a console on it's launch day especially if there really isn't must play games available. The one feature I'm looking forward to the most is Remote Play with the Vita.

Fuck consoles. Go PC!!!! In all seriousness, I am looking forward to getting a PS4. When it comes to consoles, Sony has consistently stolen my heart. Also, microsoft can go suck an infested cunt for all I care. They are an annoyance both in the console world and the pc world.

You'd think MS would realize the mistake they made by making XBLG necessary to be able to use Netflix. It's why I perfer to use my PS3 for those functions.
