Ugh, I'm back...again.

So again, health issues and work have kept me from blogging here as much as I'd like, but I thought since BF4 was released yesterday and I've managed to get some time in with it, I should give my first impressions.

1) It's a ridiculously gorgeous game. I mean, seriously. So pretty.

2) It's playing well so far. My first match froze my PS3 a few minutes in, but I didn't have any problems after that. The gunplay is easy, but still carries the necessity for adjustment for the different rifles.

3) I can see this game taking up a lot of my time, despite my wanting to finish several other games before the release of the PS4.

I want BF4!!!!! But I think I might wait until I get a new PC later this year. I skipped playing BF3 and want to get back into it -- i was a little burned out on FPS, but I miss them now.

I'm not really into FPS's as much as I used to be, but damn does that game look good. I'm definitely considering picking it up at some point!

I have not played Battlefield since Bad Company 2. If I had not let my Gold supscription on the 360 lapse, I would definitely have considered picking this up.

I haven't been on Xbox too much lately, so I might let my sub lapse too. But BF4 is damn fun. I haven't done too much of the smaller levelution (yeesh) stuff, like the IEDs in the railway map, but that's what I'm loving about this game--there's always so much to do!
