I'd be interested in the capcom character book just because capcom played such a pivotal role in my gaming hijinks when I was younger.
Sadly, I cannot comment on any of these games because I have not played them myself.

Happy Halloween! Here’s another blog with game reviews I’ve done recently. Please read as many as you can and reply in the comments section, too, if you like! I’d appreciate it. In honor of the holiday, my past four reviews this week had a spooky theme, so we’ll do those first.
Gabrielle’s Monster Match (iPad)
A couple of years ago I reviewed a cute music game on 3DS from Natsume called Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove. It starred a girl named Gabrielle who accidentally sneezed her soul out of her body, and visits a world of friendly monsters as a temporary ghost. I thought it would make a cute license for girls, way better than that Monster High stuff anyway. I was glad to see they brought back the cast for a couple of free-to-play iPad games. This one is a matching puzzle game with faces of the monsters in the game. Unfortunately, it isn’t very much fun.
Gabrielle’s Zombie Attack (iPad)
This next one kind of reminded me of Zuma. Cute zombies march in a line and you have to keep them from escaping the graveyard. They are weak against mandrakes, and you must throw the same colored ones at the same colored zombies. Both mandrakes and zombies have numbers above them, and your mandrake’s number must be higher than the zombies as well to make them go away. As with the other game, this one isn’t very much fun and is kind of hard, too.
Regular Show: Ghost Toasters (iPad)
Regular Show is probably my favorite cartoon on Cartoon Network right now. I like it better than Adventure Time, and I know that’s a rare thing to hear nowadays. So I didn’t pass up the chance to review this one. It’s a single screen platform shooter that’s kind of like Bubble Bobble or Buster Bros. Unfortunately, bad iPad controls keep this one from being very much fun. I’m still looking forward to the 3DS Regular Show game that’s coming out soon, though. WayForward is making it!
Zombie! Zombie! Zombie! (iPad)
Out of all the ‘spooky’ iPad games I’ve reviewed this week, this one’s probably the best. It’s an action puzzler where zombies march down the screen, and you must destroy them before they reach your survivors below. Tap three of the same color to make them disappear, and they’ll make a triangle and any zombies within will disappear, too. It may sound like an iPad zombie puzzler I reviewed last year called Containment, but it’s definitely different. It does get a little too hard, though. And the cartoony zombies remind me of the ones from Plants vs. Zombies.
Speaking of zombies, one Halloween activity I did last week was see a special showing of Rifftrax in a theater. Rifftrax is done by some of the same folks who worked on MST3K, and they do the same thing here, except without the robot puppets. Not quite as good, but still funny. For this Halloween, they made fun of the original Night of the Living Dead. I have to say that while that movie definitely had plenty of great material to make fun of; it certainly was a ground breaking horror film that laid the groundwork for future zombie movies.
30th Anniversary Capcom Character Encyclopedia (Book)
Now this is an awesome book. 200 of Capcom’s popular and not so popular characters are featured with artwork and history. I took pictures of a few of the pages on my review, so go take a look at them! In the comments section, let me know who your favorite Capcom characters are, and I’ll see if they made it in the book, too!
Female fighter characters tend to be more interesting than male fighters, so it makes sense that someone would think this would be a good idea to make a fighting game with all lady fighters. I guess the game isn’t THAT bad. Gameplay is solid, but none of the characters are very interesting. Plus it looks like something that could be on the PS2 almost. You’re really better off with 3-D fighters like Soul Calibur or Dead or Alive. But at ten bucks, I guess Girl Fight isn’t too bad if you just want a fighting fix. I think my next blog will feature the characters in Girl Fight. It’ll just be a filler blog, but hey, they can’t all be masterpieces.
Wipeout is an obstacle course game show, and I’ve reviewed all the games that they’ve made based on it. Is the TV show still even on? It’s like a family friendly version of Ninja Warrior I guess. I don’t really watch it. All the other games in the series have been really awful, but this one has better controls and you can make your own courses. So I guess a kid who loves the show would like it.
Who Wants to be a Millionaire: Special Editions (PS3)
Here’s another game based on a long-running TV game show that I’m surprised they made. Is this show still on, too? Game plays just like the show, but since you don’t have a time limit, I guess you could just sit there with a laptop and Google all the answers to win a virtual million bucks.
This free-to-play iPad game looks like Tetris, in that you have to build a tower with falling blocks so that a ninja can climb them to escape rising waters. Unfortunately, it isn’t very much fun.
Reader Review: Escape Goat (PC)
And last is a review from my good friend. This one looks like it may be my cup of tea, though, as it is a single screen puzzler platformer starring a goat.
Conclusions
And that’s all for now! Thanks for reading my reviews and commenting on them! I appreciate it! Later! --Cary
Hey Cary, I have had an idea for a blog I thought I pass a long to you. Since Pokemon X and Y have come out maybe you could talk about your favorite/least favorite Pokemon-like games or knockoffs.
That Capcom encylopedia looks really good. I want it but I've got so much other stuff to get too.
