I've walked around stores with this game and then put it back. Now PSN+ is letting me play it for free next month.

Here's the whole scoop on the blog site.

next month looks awesome.  I am looking forward to Soul Sacrifice and Stranger's Wrath, granted that is because I have a Vita.  I am sure that my brother will enjoy Binary Domain and Dark Arisen.

I'll be "reserving" the two Vita games to go along with all the others that have been on PSN+ since they started offering Vita games. That way if I eventually get a Vita I'll already have a huge backlog. LOL

I cannot forget to add the PS4 titles to my download list.  If I ever get one of those, I want a massive collection of games before I even buy the console.

Thanks for the link. I almost bought Binary Domain last night, and now I get to give it a try.

I just started looking at the free games on PSN for Vita. Didn't see anything I wanted to play there yet, but I may check out PS3 a give a look.

Well... that's awesome.

Is it free or is it "free" as long as I have PSN+?  MS has spoiled me with actual free games that I keep even after I drop XBL. Laughing

That's why I said "Free to play" James. I get to play the whole game for free and since I'm paid up until Christmas 2014 I've got tons of time. Besides the discounts over the last month or so have already paid for my subscription so it really is free.

I thought about going back to Xbox Gold but frankly the stuff they are giving away so far has been several years old so I either have them or never wanted them in the first place. :P

I usually wait years for price drops, so old free games don't aren't too bad.  PSN+ does have better sales though, but their sales on regular accounts aren't too bad either.

I'm getting 20 bucks back for what I bought in October too so I'm thinking Tales of Xillia which is now $39.99 I can actually get for $19.99.

What I am talking about with Gold is the fact that Halo 3 and Rainbow 6 Vegas are both over 6 years old. What would anyone want with them in 2013? Out of everything they've offered so far, Fable 3 is the only game I'd be mildly interested in playing.

The other point is that I'm not going to cancel my + subscription until Sony says they aren't doing it anymore so the point is moot. I'll have them as long as I want them. I won't be able to sell them but they didn't cost me a penny.

I think of games on PSN+ like movies and tv shows on services like Netflix.  New and old movies and tv shows are added all the time, but they're not free.  We're paying for them.  I'm afraid, Sony is just testing the waters and are coming up with a plan to have all gaming this way.  We pay a monthly fee and are allowed to download and play games from their service.  As long as we pay, we play.  It may not be soon, but I see it coming. Cool

If I pay $49.99 a year and get over $100 in discounts on games I don't lose when I leave the service then I'm not paying anything for the  games I don't get to keep.

Even if the monthly "free" games are let's say on average $20 each in a store and there are at least 4 a month. That's works out to $960 a year I didn't have to spend on my addiction.. All of the above for  less than the cost one new game a year.

That's not opinion it's just math.

I'm thinking like a paranoid collector. Laughing  Some of the gaming companies want games to become completely digital and have complete control of the product even after it's bought.  What better way to do this than pay to play.  All they have to do is get rid of the physical copies, get rid of the digital purchases, and only have the services, which they can make you pay whatever they want.  Yeah, you get to play many games, but you also own nothing.

Yeah, I don't like the idea of owning nothing but I can no longer afford to collect. I have too much money sitting around. At least with digital I'll spend less. I'm not sure I like it either but it's saving me money.

I'm excited about Binary Domain. I've almost bought that so many times but now I'm glad I waited Smile

Oh, I'll be downloading that too. I played the demo but wasn't paying attention to the instructions so I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing. At least I think it was Binary Domain. LOL

Looking forward to Soul Sacrifice. A really great month for PS+. I'm guessing they're trying to really push it leading up to the PS4 release. Hopefully, it's a sign of things to come...

I bought DD:Dark Arisen and I have no regrets either. Tongue Out For awhile it was going at a pretty cheap rate on amazon. It pleasantly surprised me. One of my favorite rpgs this gen.

Man I wish I was able to indulge in stuff like this, but my 3DS is keeping me occupied enough as it is, so even if I could I don't know where I'd find the time.

I almost got PSN+ back during the "Sales of the Dead" event but I just couldn't justify it given how I can't justify my XBLGold membership. Still it would be cool to try out these titles digitally to see if I want them physically later on when the game is no longer avaiablle for free over PSN+

Unlike Gold PSN+ pays for itself. I've got over 90 PS3 games and a bunch of PS1 games courtesy of PSN+ sales and the free to play games. I've had my membership since the beginning. So barring games I didn't want to play I have everything they've offered since day one.

Gold on the other hand doesn't buy me anything. I don't play on-line and a couple of 7 year old games a month doesn't do it for me. They tried to get me back by offering me 12 months for $36 but I didn't bother.
