Getting Excited for Xcom Enemy within out Tuesday

Xcom enemy within a Huge expansion

So I have been watching this game since The Bureau released earlier this year, and the idea of controlling xcom operatives in full mech gear against alien mechs sound intriguing, and the new faction added to the fray sounds just as good, Firaxis said that the expansion was to big to release on psn or xbox live so they went ahead and put the Xcom enemy unknown and the dlc for it and combined the new enemy within into one full game for $39.99 kinda like they did dragons dogma dark arisen.

These screen shots look sweet so I went down today and put in my preorder so Tuesday I just got to pick it up, Thoughs of you who know me knows that Xcon enemy unknown was one of my favorite games and this one looks so good I traded my original copy for this one and word of warning guys and gals if you have not played enemy unknown the new commander eddition of Enemy within is different then the original meaning you start the game with mechs and a new resource called meld to where enemy unknown you dont at any rate I will give you all more info on it when I lay hands on it.

I'm definitely going to grab this. I never bought Enemy Unknown even though I told you I would lol. It's nice that this version has come along as a type of Complete/GOTY type of edition like what Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen did by having the full game plus the expansion content all in one. I'm definitely going to grab Enemy Within now that it's coming and I can get the original game and expansion all for a lower price. Oh yeah, I bought Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen recently Rodney. I'm going to have to write a new blog sometime this week because I've been buying some new games this past couple months and haven't kept you guys updated.

Well I glad to hear from ya havent seen you hear much, but enemy within looks very good I had the original one but traded it today for the new one and the fact that the crew and the aliens have mechs makes it even cooler and the fact theres like a hundred extra maps really helps, dont know if you knew but I did what I said I wouldnt I traded like 45 to 50 of my games to get some new releases I got xcom the bureau and diablo3 and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag and then paid off enemy within today so I have done the unthinkable and traded over half my collection but I wasnt playing them anyway lol!!

I still have to play the original which I bought recently. This is definitely on my must-have list though. Not day-one, but I will own it sometime.

I think you did good by playing the original first cause the new one is way different but I wish you would play it so ya can let me know what ya think and see why its my favorite strategy game.

Played the demo. Knew right away it was a game for me. Will get to it soon...stop (as in telegram)

never played enemy unknown (gutted to miss it) but just saw on amazon that Enemy Within for 360 comes bundled with it. Just ordered for £25, absolute bargain! Gotta wait till friday here in the UK though!

The game will be amazing and will base the way expansion packs will be sold, theres alot of content in this one and the premise of playing the original version with 2 new aliens 47 new maps and a new faction will change the game big time.
