I ended up using a walkthrough after all to get through bloody Wallbridge, but the super frustrating thing is that it led to a door I had walked past a few times. Up near the save point bridge on the roof. I couldn't believe it. I had been too busy concentrating on the "Woops! Looks like we can't go through here!" text bubble, I missed the steps to a door.

Sometimes a walkthrough will make you realise you would never had figured something out otherwise. Then there are times like these...

No worries, like I mentioned before, I used a walkthrough there also (and on some light puzzles somewhere else). Sometimes it is best to use walkthroughs. Especially if it saves you money on damaged equipment.

This is a good reason for me to draw out simple maps whenever I get around to playing Tales of Graces f. I remember the same type of nonsense when I was playing Ar tonelico Qoga, where there was a series of ladders leading above and below a base. Everything starts to look the same after a while, and I would actually get a headache trying to keep track of it all in my head.
