I kind of want to get Lego Marvel, but I'll wait until I hit a dry spell with the PS4 and want something to play on it. Right now my attention's going completely to Skylanders, which is like a more fun, but much more expensive Lego game, so no real reason to get a game like it now.

I'll keep it short and simple, promise!
Playing: Jason wanted to go to Best Buy last evening and promised to buy me dinner if I took him. The little restaurant where we ate was about three store fronts down Game Box. Of course we had to go in, and I caved. Should not be spending money on myself without a job this close to Christmas, but... Lego Marvel Super Heroes is now mine. I wasn't going to get it last night because they didn't have any copies for the 360, which is my preferred gaming console, but the PS3 version was staring me in the face saying: "You know you want to take me home tonight" and that was that. And I needed something light-hearted and fun after last week. I've played three or four levels, and so far my favorite character to play as is the Hulk. "HULK SMASH!" 'nuff said.
Watching: Pretty much the same thing as last week, except that I forgot to mention season four of Warehouse 13.
Reading: Just bought a couple of new books - Storm Dancer (The Lotus War Book 1) by Jay Kristoff. It's a steampunk kinda book. Haven't started it yet, but it looked interesting. Also got the second Walt Longmire mystery, Death Without Company by Craig Johnson, and I started the first Jack Taylor mystery The Guards.
Listening: Nothing new - my friend Tom's CD Bottle Full For the Shanty Man, Garnet Rogers' CD Night Drive, Billy Idol's Greatest Hits, Craig Morgan Robson's Peppers and Tomatoes.
Miscellaneous: I might have mentioned that I'm taking part in a photo a day challenge for the month of November. I'm having fun with it, if anyone's interested in the pics, they're on Flickr in the November Photo of the Month set.
I think I may have written my best blog entry ever with the one before this one. I dunno. All I know is that I may have gotten a lot of non-gamers interested in games.
Spent Friday night and Saturday evening at a couple of sessions in memory of Tom. We filled the place Friday night, and rafters were raised. Repeat on Saturday. Lots of rowdy, "inappropriate" songs were sung, stories told, and I finally stood up and led a song, with my friend Pete's help, because as soon as Pete announced I was going to sing, I immediately forgot most of the words. Maybe I can manage to learn at least one more before the session next month. We'll see.
And there you have it, what I've been up to this past week. I should go walk the dog, but I hear the siren song of Lego Marvel Super Heroes calling me...
