Since I'll be posting my blogs here instead of 1up I guess maybe I should do a poem since I posted a lot of them back there too. It's been awhile so forgive if it's terrible, and it's not really happy, so there's that. The pictures I randomly through in it might make some of you smile though :P

We've been here before

I remember this place

The clothes that you wore

The look on your face

You told me you loved me

You promised to stay

I showed you everything you wanted to see

And all you did was run away

I've been here before

I remember this feeling

The holes that it tore

The way it sent me reeling

I said I loved you

I promised I wouldn't go away

What else was i supposed to do

How else could I make you stay

I've been writing poetry since I was 15-16. Not all of it's very good though especially from that era.

Always like seeing your poetry Kay. I remember writing quite a few good ones at school. Only problem was I hated writing it. When I write, I need more possibilities for Assassin's Creed bashing or squeezing in an orgy scene.

Lovely poem, Kay. I gave poetry a try when I was younger but it just not was my thing. You've got a talent for it though.

It is a good poem, though quite sad. I think everyone has felt this way before so it's quite easy to relate to it. Love is BRUTAL!

No Ben, people are brutal. Love is wonderful thing. It is only when you introduce humans that it becomes fucked up. :)

It's true though. Love is beautiful and it's unfortunate we find so many ways to mess it up.

I agree a lot of people just don't seem to understand love or what they want from it, and end up getting scared. It's sad, really.

Must dissociate words from pictures...pretty words and then boom! A picture that makes me think with the wrong head.

Hehe..Glad to see Kay still motivated..Meanwhile even before 1Up announced it's close I still have a hard time telling exactly where people I know go exactly these days,I guess mostly the first few friends I made at 1Up at the start..Since I know Marc's butt is super glued to twitter..:P

That was a really great poem. It conveys a lot of emotion,as good poetry will often do. Thought provoking as well. That is just my favorite sort of poem.
