As most of you know, I got the opportunity to write the soundtrack for an indie PC strategy game called Pirate Code that came out last month after more than five years in development (you can read about why it took so long to make on the developer's blog here). Yesterday I posted the game's battle music for your listening pleasure and today I'm back with a trailer—and coupon! The trailer gives some story context to the battles and shows off plenty of action, of course, but also some of the more behind the scenes strategy bits like expanding and outfitting your fleet and crews. And, naturally, it features another one of my songs from the game
Then there's the coupon, which was made specifically for us (though anyone can use it, of course). Just enter PIXLBIT5 when buying the game to get $5 off, bringing the price down to $9.95. There's also a free demo if you're not sure you'll like it or worried about your machine running it okay and the coupon is good for the rest of November, so give it a chance. I think it's right up your alley for a lot of you. Remember: PIXLBIT5. You can download the game here.
Also, Pirate Code is on Greenlight now, so if you have a Steam account, please give it a yes vote so we can get the game on Steam!
Now for the trailer!
