Gravity Rush! Glad I played Ya!

Well the credits rolled last night on Gravity Rush. I sat there feeling like there should have been more but, not sad that it was over.

I really enjoyed the comic book styling of the cut scenes and ofcourse the gravity bending I got to do. The time challanges are okay but something I really felt could have been left out, that is just me though.

The world was compact, which for me just fit since it is a hand-held game. Well it felt compact but, when you jumped off the side of a builden and looked down you looked into infinity. I am so happy I got my Vita because this game was the main reason I wanted it. Now with that said I am going to buy the hard copy version since I had to delete it to play Uncharted GA.

Thanks for reading my ramblings.

I'm playing it right now on my Vita. It's an excellent game and I'm really taken by the music and the controls. Hope you like Unchared GA; I did.

Thanks. So far it is good. I have not played any of the Uncharted games, not because I did not like them, just because I had other games I was more focused on. I will pick up the games now that I started. Hello more games to my back-log.

I've been thinking strongly about getting this. I'm currently trapped in the loving grasp of P4G but when I get through that it's between Gravity Rush and Soul Sacrifice (should it be out by than). Thanks for the impressions

I want P4G also. That and the Ys coming out this year.

Yeah i'm probably going to preorder Ys. Finally it looks like the vita is picking up steam

Yes. Now if the Memory card prices would come down a few dollars, it will be in business.

100% agree with this

I'm excited about Ys too.  IT's a good sign of the future of the Vita, when games like that are coming out.  Someday I'll pick one of these things up....

I want to pick up Ys I and II on steam but, I do not have time to play them right now.

Gravity Rush was a great game.  Uncharted was pretty good too.  I'm currently playing FF  Tactics on the Vita since I never beat it on the consoles.

The only game I have purchased so far for the Vita is P4G (the ones mentioned above I got for free from the PSN+).  I played that over the last couple months and loved every minute of it.  I hope to actually start the Vita soon by actually buying games, but they just gave away so many free ones  that I've had plenty to play over the last few months since I got it. I'm very curious about zero escape and might end up getting that soon.

I am excited for a few games coming out for the Vita. I want to play the new Ys and Killzone to name a few.

I just bought a Vita 2 months ago. Gravity Rush was the very first game I bought for it. It is truly amazing and very unique. Has a visual style to it that I've never seen before anywhere. Only other game I have for Vita is Assassin's Creed. Love that one as well,so I'm 2 for 2!

Once I have a Vita that will be a first choice buy, I played the Demo at gamestop like 5 months back and I really enjoyed it. It took getting use to the controls but I still had fun with it.

I hope your doing okay Larry, Im trying to reconnect with everyone from 1up since its going bye bye.

I was Melantha1989/Nicole on there!

You mentioned those Vita memory cards. It blows my mind how much they cost. 60 bucks or the largest one? Really Sony?

Homelessrook

100 bucks for the biggest one.

100 bucks for a 32 GB card is complete bullshit. There is no reason the thing shouldn't have been designed to take SD, Micro SD or MS Pro Duos like the PSP did. It all boils down to greed. It probably would have taken Pro Duo cards except that you can now buy Pro Duo shells anywhere for next to nothing and stick a Micro SD in them.

Well we see how well greed is working for them now. Costco in Canada reduced their bundles to $197 two weeks ago with an 8 GB stick, a case and Hot Shots Golf. This week they pulled them off the shelves completely because they still didn't sell.

The Vita is a nice piece of hardware, I don't understand why Sony is trying to kill it.

it's ridiculous and the biggest one is the one I would want.  32 gigs is just the right size, and they make it $100 bucks. so lame.

Homelessrook

I agree 100%. The Vita is a awesome handheld. It should have been the SD card and not a system specific card. I got a 4gig with my bundle, which sucks because I can only get one free game at a time with the instant play bundle. Also their AT&T data packages suck ass. Never try to watch a Netflix movie because your package will be done.

If I had a Vita, this would be one of the games I'd get for it.
