I'm sticking around last gen for a while. I want a 3DS XL but can't afford it so I'll be squinting at my launch 3DS for a while longer. If I was getting a console this year it would be a Wii U so that I could play the new Mario game, Wind Waker HD and a few others. Second choice would be a PS4 but since there isn't a single game out for it that interests me I'd be waiting even if I had the money. I'd like a Vita too since I have about 10 games from PSN+ that I'd like to try and Persona 4 Golden.
Welcome to the Next Generation. Are you in?

Just a quickie hello while I got the laptop out.
Here we are, folks. After the longest console generation in history we are finally at the birth of a NEW generation of consoles. I'm excited as a gaming hobbyest to be seeing all this go down, right out the gate we are starting with a good oldfashioned console war, and it looks to be the bloodiest since the 16-Bit era. It will be very interesting to see how this all pans out.
That being said, I have no interest in picking up a new console anytime soon. I'm getting a Zelda 3DSXL for Christmas but thats about it.
I'm curious to know how many of you are getting new consoles by the years end? If you are playing them already, what do you think? If you aren't getting one but had to pick one, which would you get? What games are you interested in? If Last Guardian becomes a reality, that just may seal the deal for me on a PS4.
Right now I'm starting to pick into the empressive library of PS3 games. I picked up the Journey collection, I played through Journey twice, and it that won't be my last. Amazing game, and also started messing with Flower. Another very cool and beautiful game. I finished Last of Us and I think it lives up to all the hype. Amazing game.
I'm also playing Ghosts multiplayer on 360, I sitll like Black Ops II maps better but I'm getting used to it.
So I hope everyone on the US side had a great Thanksgiving. I sure did. Details on that another time. And I hope everyone has a fantastic whatever it is you celebrate towards the end of the year. I celebrate Christmas, so through my Christmas time I hope you all have an amazing and wonderful time as well, regardless of what you celebrate and when.
