Hey guys, I havn't done one of these in a while... I applied for the IT job today! I hope I get it, I really want to get back to my electronics roots. In other news, as I type my wife and oldest daughter are playing Mario Kart 64 on our N64 in the bedroom. I love the fact my girls can play through the games and the systems as I did coming up.

So what am I playing....?

I am Play Etrian Odyssey Untold Demo. well I need to get this game too. lol.

The Vita has gotten a good bit of attention from me lately. With WD and some free games coming up, plus Ys.

Anyway, that is about it. Just a few more weeks and I will have that unboxing special for the Ouya.

Later Guys and Gals!

Oh, P.S.

I would go next Gen if.

1. I could get the XBone Controller

2. The Shell of The PS4.

3. The insides of a kick ass gaming PC to go inside the PS4 Shell.

Good luck with the job Larry! I saw the Xbone and PS4 today at Gamestop. I wasn't impressed. Although I have seriously been thinking about starting to save up money for a new PC lately. It'll take forever, but it'll be worth it.

Honestly the XBone looks like a late 1970s VCR, but I do like the Controller. The graphics really do not look any different from what is out now. I do like the look of the PS4 but I hate the Controller. Graphics same as current gen too. Thanks Aaron, I hope I get it.

Firstly, Xbone controller works with most pc games already. Secondly, why a PS4 case? Get one of these bitches!

And lastly, it is so awesome that your kids enjoy older consoles! Man, the N64, so many memories!

P.S. Hope you get that job!

Damn some nice builds there... I might just buy a XBone controller then. As for the PS4 case, I like the look of it.

Thanks Jamie. I retired last year and had heart surgery, then sat around  for a year, I am ready to get back to doing something in electronics and IT.

hey good luck, Larry!  Sounds like you really want it.

Yeah, the N64 was a good system.  When I have kids, I want to help them appreciate gaming history too.

Thanks Matt. I do really want it. This resturaunt job is really hard on my back and nerves. The resturaunt where I work is a great place, good people to work with and good owners and boss, just standing all the time is getting to me.

I have actually been thinking about pulling out the N64 because I have been wanting to play Mario 64.  The only problem is that I have one of those crappy off-brand controllers.

I have always had the thought of building a kickass gaming PC in the back of my mind.  The only problem is my love of Sony exclusives and the initial cost of components.

I'm rootin' for ya Larry! Hope you land the position.

Loved the N64. it didn't wind up with a ton of games but many of those that did show up were really fun.

Thanks Peter. I know there was not a lot of games for it, but it did give us Perfect Dark and 007 Goldeneye.

Good luck with the job man! Down the line they're probably gonna release newer versions of the consoles, kinda like how the PS2 and PS3 both went slim, so I wouldn't count out next jen just yet!

I say this, if they show me a great leap in the graphics then what is out now now, then I may reconsider next gen. I want to see a leap like from the PSP to the Vita. That is what I would call a step forward. Also, thanks.

Etrian Oddysey Untold, nice. I've been enjoying the game and it helps that it's pretty much a begginers game for the saga.

I want to pick it up, but I have so many games to beat right now.lol.

Good luck wth the job, Larry! I've found that kids love the older consoles for some reason. I think it might be the simpler controllers, but then again, it could just be that the games are just that fun.

Thanks Tami. We have a little video of them paying it, I am working on putting it up.

Good luck on the job! Mario Kart 64, that brings back memories. And I agree with Whatsacow, I think you could pretty much build that console you want if you could find a PS4-shaped PC. Or just get one of the designs he showed.

I know they will have Mod cases for the PS4 in the future. The only thing is, I will have to put the power supply on the outside.
