Hello Pixlbit.

 I'm Back!

New PC

I  have a brand new laptop. Office Depot had a Toshiba for only $269. The cheapest in town so I had to buy it. I dont think I will get another chance to get a pc for that price locally. (Tami, aka Rangergirl was gonna give me her old one before I got this one. Thank you Tami, that was a very nice gesture)

So at least I am back online.

Heart Surgery

If you read my previous blog you will know I was having terrible chest pains. I did go to the doctor and he had to do a Coronary angioplasty ballon surgery. I had an artery that was 90% blocked. I'm feeling a lot better now. The pain is gone. But I am changing my diet (for the better) I do not want to go through that again. Diet and stress are two main contributers to heart disease.

Year of the Snake

Although I was really enjoying my playthrough of all my Metal Gear games, I had put a time frame on completing them. It was getting too stressful and stress is something I do not need. Plus, who plays games to stress themselves?  So I stopped trying to beat all the games in a timeframe. I will finish them when I finish them.  I've moved on to LittleBigPlanet and for Christmas my daughter is giving me Call of Duty Ghost.

However, I was off three weeks for my Heart surgery and my first days back at work we worked 12 hours 2 days straight and then we had to work the saturday after Thanksgiving which we never worked before.   The word is we are working long hours from now until the new year.

Good thing I got my heart repaired or I wouldnt make it!  hahahahah

But, on the positive side, I have a new PC , better health and Im back enjoying video games.

Life is good!

GH! GHHHHH!!! GHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!  ... Sorry. I can't resist saying that given the circumstances lol. Welcome back! I'm back too. I'm glad the surgery worked out. 90% blockage sounds serious.

Aaron: Welcome back.  90% blockage is serious but thankfully it was a Branch artery and not a main one or they would've probably done a bypass. I was only in the hospital for one night. but still, it was serious and hurt like hell!

Wow, GH, glad you went to your doctor and had that workup when you did, and spared yourself from permanent cardiac damage or worse. Glad to hear you're feeling better and good to see you here again.

Andrew: Yeah, I really think I waited too long. although I didnt have any damage, I could've  gotten relief a lot faster had I went to the doctor a year ago.

hey glad you're back, man!  I'm glad you are changing your diet for the better rather than changing it for the worse!  Tongue Out

I need to start taking better care of myself too.

Glad your heart surgery was a success! I thought I had heart problems last week and went to the ER. Turns out it wasn't a heart thing but that I had Lyme Disease. Yuk! Well, I'm on an antibiotic for three weeks and I guess all will be well. Got to stay out of the tall grass while I'm photographing bugs!

Lyme disease can be very serious. I only go into the woods went it is cold..Im not sure that even helps though.

Good to see you back and well. Hearts are serious business, if anyone doubts, just take a look at this - I recommend reading the whole story arc, just because it's fun :)

Thanks Tami, and if I can stick to my diet and not stress out I hopefully will not have to go through anymore heart-anythings in the future

Man oh man, good to see you back and even better to hear that you got your chest pains checked out. Heart problems are no joke, and I'm happy to see that you have that taken care of, and preventing it from happening again.

Also good to see that you got a new PC, and I agree, you can't go wrong with the price. Since you got a new PC, are you going to play some PC games?

Good to see you back, and don't stress!

Thank you....No pc games for me.   I just browse the web and play around with my photography.  and its good to be back!

Dude, don't scare me like that!  ;-)  Glad every worked out with your ticker.  Watch that diet buddy.

I too need to get a new PC.  Actually, I'm still deciding if I'll get a PC or laptop, but I'm leaning more towards the PC route.  I'm just used to having one after 10 years.

Jamie:  Thank You.   I want a desktop pc but this laptop will have to fit the bill until I get more money or it dies. But I set it up like a desktop. I have it in one place and never gonna move it from there.

Good to hear your OK after that heart surgey GH. I just got a laptop myself. Works pretty good for what it was worth.

Welcome back boyo! Congrats on getting a new laptop for your PC endeavors. It's even better you got yourself fixed up. I too have to fix my diet as of late. My last doctors trips showed that I have a bad cholestorol count over 900!

Hope you find other fun games to play during the holiday, even if your time is short. Time to put that snake to bed!
