I didn't know Destiny would have a multiplayer.

I kind of thought Destiny would just be a single player experience. Holy shit bricks this is really cool.

I am currently as I type this looking at GameInformer's take on it.

What do you think of Destiny as a whole.

I am super amped and otherwise highly excited about Bungie's next entry.  This game is shaping up and will be incredible. It might be beyond. Exploring this universe brings up many questions.

Namely: Does this planet have popcorn? Are there alligators you can ride? What is the choocolate like. How the fuck do all the kick-ass weaponry actually work? Are there hot alien chicks you can throttle? Wait, that was in bad taste.

So many questions for Destiny. How cool are the aliens gunna be? Aw yeah boi!

what I'm not sure about is if it will have single player?  will it?  it seems like a kind of MMO or something...

I thought that it was going to be a co-op only experience, without any sort of competetive multiplayer.

I am excited for Destiny, and if they have some sort of splitscreen multiplayer I will pre-order it today.

My understanding based on a video I watched the other day is that it will have some common areas where you will see other players running around like towns and quest hubs, but I'm not sure if it is that way in the entire world. I'm sure there are some areas where it's like a single player game, but it isn't clear to me yet if there is some kind of party system like in MMO's or what. They definitely are avoiding calling Destiny an MMO though, because in most ways it really is a unique FPS.

I really hope it does have some sort of competitive multiplayer though, just to spice things up. PVP can be pretty fun and intense, but part of that is just my competitive nature. Destiny seems to have a lot of major strengths such as combat, exploration, and story telling, so adding PVP could just make it appeal to even more people.

I'm definitely anticipating this one though, can't wait for it to get released.
